This place is amazing! I did a LOT of research prior to booking our stay at this hotel to make sure that it was the perfect place to stay and it really lived up to all expectations! Casa Azul was recommended by Lonely Planet, had good reviews on travel sites including Trip Adviser and I am happy to say they...

Casa Azul was an incredible place to stay! You are right in front of a gorgeous beach with great surfing and close to the restaurants and shops. Also, there is an included kitchen with a fridge and communal dishes which can help you save money by cooking yourself. The staff is ridiculously friendly and does a good job. I was...

This place is simply great. The staff is very friendly. A guard is on duty at all times. The place is very clean. Location really helps a lot too with the beach directly in front, The Bakery at an ear shot, and good place for drinks next door if you want. The staff leaves fresh mangos daily, and more if...

I did a ton of research for a place that was close to the water in Santa Teresa / Playa Del Carman, and we were not disappointed! Casa Azul is one of the closest and only places to stay basically on the beach that is reasonably priced. 95% of the others are at the road, which is loud with constant...

We started out trip at a hotel OTHER than Casa Azul (which SHALL remain nameless), and it was sub par -- far away from everything, no swimmable beach, lots of road dust and noise (since it was 20 feet from the road). The bedding was dirty, the AC and air circulation was useless, and the room looked like it was...

I stayed at Casa Azul for three nights with my mom, and it was the perfect spot for us. Richard was great and so helpful right from first contact. He was really accessible and it was easy to book. Upon arrival, we were greeted by the staff who showed us around and helped us get settled in our room. We...

My wife and I have stayed at Casa Azul four times over the past 7 years and it continues to be the best place to stay for surfing. It is on the beach with a direct view of the waves and is 75 yards to the surf. It is clean, safe and very well run. All the accommodations have a...

Beautiful, Clean, Safe, Great pool, steps to one of the best surf breaks you will find. Richard and his support staff have done it once again. 5 days in paradise! A simple walk to restaurants. Rest in between surf sessions in the hammocks, soak in the pool. Can't say enough. Thanks again!!!

Richard is the consummate host, and Casa Azul is the perfect blend of quality, comfort, and value. It's location couldn't be better either - prime proximity to the beach and close to all you need in Santa Teresa. Richard makes the guests' comfort, security, and peace of mind his priority, and it is evident in the surroundings at Casa Azul....

“Our group stayed in the rooms on the first floor and they all had AC which was lovely. If you want a beautiful view to wake up to, definitely get one of the two ocean view rooms, but the small room in the back has the best price and is still well appointed, just without the balcony doors looking out on the property.”
