I just got back from a yoga retreat at this hotel. The staff is amazing! The food is delicious, and everyone who works there is accommodating and friendly. And if you go to the spa, get a massage with Maria. She is awesome.

This was my second time staying here, and I came back for a reason! I loved it the first time and brought my husband with for our honeymoon. Our first room had a broken air conditioner and they had us moved to a new room in a couple hours. The spa is awesome, the restaurant serves absolutely amazing food (even...

Before making your way to reception, make sure you apply tons of insect repellant as the mosquitoes will find you! But once in your air conditioned room, its very clean and it's a pretty simple set up. I didn't like the fact that there was no phone in the room & that the reception office closed at night, its a...

This place is a big deception.. The location is great; beachfront; and the restaurant and pool are looking decent. But the service is terrible; the kids at the bar were so unprofessional; and not friendly; and just have no clue about how to make a cocktail...I mean, if you get served a $10 cocktail in Santa Teresa you would hope...

The place is super nice, located on the beach but most of the bungalows are under the trees 100m from the sea. The rooms are in average big (for 4-5 beds) clean and comfortable while being quite basic. Air con worked so and so, we changed 3 rooms over A 4 night stay and this was quite annoying. The personnel...

We planned our destination wedding with Hotel Tropico Latino completely over emails due to the poor phone reception from Colorado, so we were a little worried it wouldn't go as planned, but WOW ,Francesca, the spa personnel, Jennifer Harter (our photographer), Terri Zacanti (our minister), the guitar players, the chef, the bar staff, and everyone made our day PERFECT!!! We had...

I was part of a fabulous yoga retreat of almost 30 people. The hotel hosted us with kindness and grace. Everyone was very helpful and accommodating. Especially Evelyn in the reception. Aside from the retreat aspect (which was not actually part of the hotel, they just hosted it) the hotel is located on a great stretch of beach in Santa...

I won't repeat the highlights of great surf beach steps away and the beauty of the sunsets, what the other travelers have said is all true. I do want to say that the staff here was amazing, everyone was helpful, and Evelyn, the Office Manager went above and beyond answering questions and helping with our needs and transportation arrangements. We...

We recently returned from a trip along the west coast and peninsula of CR. We started our trip with an Airbnb and a hostel, so this hotel was a nice reward for a little bit of "roughing it". The rooms were spacious and clean, and the staff were all extremely accommodating. I was with friends but this seemed to be...

My family had a lovely 4 night stay at Hotel Tropico Latino. The staff was very friendly and helpful. They even had a wonderful crib for our 5 months old grandchild. Beautiful beach, we look forward to a return visit.
