Excellent location with direct beach access, close to all of the restaurants and shops, and the villas/bungalows are nicely tucked away closer to the beach to give you a quiet place to rest and relax. Friendly staff, clean rooms, a great restaurant, yoga, massages, hammocks at the beach, Tropico Latino is a great place to make as your home base...

Clean, stylish, great location, and wonderful staff. Will stay here again next time in Santa Teresa. Girlfriend and I were looking for a place on the beach, wanted to be able to walk out of villa without having to cross street to get to beach. Super comfy hammocks on beach and on your private porch, didn't eat at hotel, but...

Great Beach Front Hotel. Location of the premisses are the best in Mal Pais. Nice restaurant a little expensive but worth the views to the surf break. Confortable lay out, a little outdated cabinas without kitchenette that will help for budget travelers or big families. The service is excellent and the front desk employees are really helpful (Evelyn). Will highly...

We stayed at Hotel Tropico Latino for 4 days in the beginning of December. The second you drive up to the hotel grounds you can tell you are in a tropical paradise. You do have to walk on a gravel path from the parking lot to the reception but when you are in lush gardens you'll hardly mind. We stayed...

This is my third year in a row visiting the hotel and the second time with my two kids (1 and 6 years old), and yes, my second time there I brought a new born. :) Once again I was able to enjoy my stay knowing exactly what to expect from the staff (great service and dedication), the hotel (clean...

This was our third stay here. We stay here to attend the Pura Vida Adventure Surf and Yoga Camp. Beautiful slice of paradise abutts the beach with secluded villas and an open air restaurant. On site spa with some of the most wonderful open air treatment huts with excellent massage therapists. 2 beautiful outdoor yoga studios one just recently refurbished....

I had the pleasure of staying at Hotel Tropico Latino with my husband for a week this past December. We stayed in beach view bungalow 14 and it was so peaceful and relaxing. The grounds and room were immaculate and the staff was warm, friendly and accommodating. Our bungalow had a rather large deck and our own hammock. The walk...

This was our second vacation to this hotel. We visited the week in between Christmas and new year. First of all you are ON the beach. Not 'steps" or close to beach ..you are ON the beach, a huge plus for us. We love it because you get first class service but can turn up in shorts and flip flops....
