staying at cuesta arriba with a family from the off was a great experience for my children, in the jungle near the sea, they experienced packs of howlers moving through the trees around the pool area, we were woken daily by the beautiful howlers and many other sounds of wildlife, just a 3 minute walk for a dawny and special...

Cuesta Arriba was wonderful! Maria cleaned our rooms daily, as well as the kitchen and pool area. Front desk personnel were helpful and fun to be around. They helped us get a rental car for our drive out and went the extra mile to make sure everything worked out for us. Thanks for great introduction to Costa Rica, Cuesta Arriba!

Immediately welcoming, clean, comfortable, great kitchen, good atmosphere with the other guests, great location slightly away from all the madness "in town", great staff and just altogether a fantastic place to stay. Of all the rooms we stayed in, the loft room was the best. Great value for money here, regardless of what room you get. LOVED IT AND WILL...

Cuesta Arriba is a great place for all travelers; families, solo and couples. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Its right across from the beach, close to a grocery store and restaurants. Very nice shared kitchen and accommodation. They have all the amenities you could ask for. A/C, WIFI, pool, etc.

Thank you Victoria for spreading the voice about Cuesta Arriba. It is very hard for us to keep up with the demands of travelers from around the world. We work very hard to provide the best service / amenities to our guest without breaking the balance in the jungle! Your review is a clear statement of that!!! Cheers Barbara &...

I was traveling on my own in Santa Teresa and I loved staying at Cuesta Arriba. It was quiet, close to an incredible yoga studio, had an incredible beach 100 m away that had great surf, and was close to a good soda and a really cool smoothie shop. The kitchen allowed me to cook food, and it was a...
