My wife and I just returned from a fabulous trip to Belize with Island Expeditions. It was our first trip to Belize and we wanted to experience both land and water. Upon landing at the international airport in Belize City, we flew 15 minutes south to Dangriga where we were met by an Island Expeditions staff member who drove us...

My Husband and I stayed here last month. To start off, The grounds are absolutely beautiful and rooms are very Clean. We were very happy with the cleanliness of the rooms. The housekeeping does an amazing job. We had a lot of valuables in the room but none them were ever touched or moved. We had great wifi connection. Better...

The grounds are beautifully kept gardens. Our casita was so pretty. Lovely decor. The screened in porch was great for hanging out. Water and continental breakfast were free.On site restaurant yummy. Staff was helpful and so friendly. You can do several hikes and the ziplines right from the resort.

We stumbled on this place thanks to a deal on Groupon...admittedly, it's a bit off the beaten path, but what a place. The grounds are idyllic, well maintained and beautiful. We spent our first night in one of the basic rooms - no complaints. I was a bit worried since there isn't AC, but it was a total non-issue for...

Such an amazing experience...from scheduling to staying and hated to leave. We loved spending time relaxing in the hammocks on the property, zip lining and the hike to the waterfall and rapelling down, was amazing. The chef and bartender were superb! Thank you so much for the best eats and drinks and education of the local plant life. Hearing the...

And if you are only going to do one zip line in your life, this is the one to do. great guides, reasonable price and wonderful lunch afterwards. I would recommend that you do the waterfall rappelling too if you have the time...

The family traveled to Bocawina from Maya Beach to zip line. The drive there was easy, approx 40 minutes. However, off the highway is a rugged dirt road. Once there, the staff was very friendly and helpful. The zip line course was exciting and fun as you zip through the jungle. What made the trip more enjoyable was the local...

My mother and I visited over Thanksgiving through the adventure package found on the website. We were amazed not only by the resort itself but the kindness of the staff, cleanliness of the rooms, thrill of the adventures, and taste of the restaurant food. This was definitely one of the prettiest places we have visited and everything was organized so...

Our family had a marvelous two-night stay at Bocawina before Christmas. The restaurant blew us away (both with excellent food and service) as did the rooms with tropical hardwood trim and towels folded into origami swans. The zipline - remarkably well-engineered, well-built, and well-maintained - was awesome for kids and adults. Victor and Sandy not only gave us a safe...

Restaurant was a pleasant surprise, especially considering you have no other easy options. We ate before zip-lining. Reasonably priced, delicious food, and quick. Service was friendly. Shrimp tacos were delicious! Everyone was happy with their orders. They quickly rectified an error they made on an order.
