My husband and I stayed at Lone Pine for 10 days and thoroughly enjoyed it. From the friendly staff to the spacious rooms with comfortable beds and balcony (complete with plunge bath) and also little extras (chocolates, bottle of wine, cookies and free mini bar soft drinks, daily fruit) we could not recommend it more. The hotel was 'boutique' so... More

My Husband and I stayed here for the last 4 days of a 2 week holiday, a lot of time before which was spent trekking in rainforests and exploring cities, so we were really looking for somewhere to just relax and unwind - well this certainly delivered! I work in a 5* hotel, so have high standards when it comes... More

My partner and I stayed 7 nights at the Lone Pine and found it to be very pleasant. We had a super deluxe room which was excellent, spacious and well appointed with nice views of the beach from the balcony. The hotel overall had a lovely relaxing feel about it Staff at all levels were good and dealt with a... More

Stayed here for 9 nights as part of a Singapore/Malaysia trip, accompanied by our 10 year old son. Too long with not enough to do for everyone, especially him. Better suited to Honeymooners/couples or families with smaller children who will be happy with the excellent paddling pools. Room ok but no better than hundreds of others we have stayed in.... More

We arrived yesterday and found this fantastic hotel. Very classic and neat. Scattard in building but very much connected. The sea view and touch has no compare with the others. I have not seen the others yet, as this become more than my dreams. The breakfast place is fascinating joys for all and food is too delicious.

With 2 kids under 3 we normally feel quite restricted however the Lone pine were more than accommodating. Luxury accommodation that also considered us as a young family. Location was ideal for night markets and water sports while a trip into George Town was cheap enough in a taxi. No bargaining required either which is nice. The staff were so... More

Lovely hotel and the rooms were very good and spacious. Service was excellent. Stayed 8 nights from March 6th. Clean sheets and towels everyday with fresh fruit and soft drink provided. Extra touches which made us feel special was a bottle of wine and a few chocolates left in our room. The buffet with free flow wine and beer was... More
