Run by Dr Tom ( also a horse trainer) and the 'unique' Jeanne. A quirky place to stay as Jeanne has 'imprinted' her artistic talents on the whole place . Excellent value with amazing gardens, lovely large pool ( only one I have ever known that deepens sideways) and also hosts a training school, for Arabian horses, many of which have...

We stayed over at Aasvoelkrans once again after our initial visit 3 years ago. Just as lovely as the first time! The ambience with horses, sheep, dogs (Coco, the Ridgeback is our favourite) and the beautiful garden setting is just what we needed away from the hustle & bustle of Cape Town. Jeanne surprised us with such a lovely breakfast....

Loved the eclectic, funky decor! Abundant farm life and stunning nature views. Great hospitality! Accommodations are well equipped with decadent linen in the rooms. Great attention to detail in terms of interior decorating with amazing hand made quilts, crochet and art. Jeanne was a heartwarming host. Absolutely enjoyable weekend!

Staying in this place offers you a way to think of another world full of magic. The garden is beautiful and well maintained, each room is individually decorated with paintings done by the owner, each one has its own character. Take just some mosquito repellent as it's difficult to keep them out.

We spent three nights here and I could have stayed for much longer. The gardens with their tranquil atmosphere are totally relaxing and coupled with Jeanne's artistic flair are a real haven of peace and tranquillity. The rooms are attractively enhanced with Jeanne's amazing pieces of art and are comfortable, clean and well equipped. The sleep quality is perfect. Jeanne...

My husband and I spent 2 glorious nights with another couple at Assvoelkrans and can't stop telling our friends how much we enjoyed it. Every which way your turn there is a piece of art or fresh flowers or Coco, the Rhodesian Ridgeback or the twin lambs born just before breakfast. Jeanne was a wonderful host and really knew the...

We have stayed at this B & B before. It is run by Jeanne who is an artist as well as a proprietor. The rooms are sufficient but very minimal. The gardens are immaculate we loads of garden statues and objects scattered about. Each breakfast is presented differently each day with individual fruit and fruit salads being offered and is...

This is an absolute gem. We have stayed here three times now and would not think of travelling to South Africa without returning. Jeanne is so welcoming and accommodating. You stay in one of the cottages in a beautiful garden at the foot of the mountains, absolute bliss. The furnishings in each cottage always contain Jeanne's own work, such as...

We stayed for 2 nights at Aasvoelkrans. The Garden Cottage is great (sleeps up to 4) with a well equipped living room and kitchen area, well designed. Jeanne has a perfect hand for a great mixture of furniture, her own art!!! and flower decorations. The pool is fine, and enables good swimming opportunities. The sun was shining all day, and...
