The lodge is an 4 star lodge, so you expect that all the rooms will be standard. Well not true. The classic rooms has no air con. That is the rooms upstairs. So if you book make sure that you book one of the modern rooms. I can't understand that they don't put air-con in the other rooms too.It is...

Thank you for your review and we are glad that you enjoyed your stay at Mimosa Lodge. We appreciate the feedback regarding the Air-conditioning. We are listening to our guests and as it is an Historic Building we have had a long road in order to get permission to put Air-Conditioning into the older rooms. I am happy to report...

The room was very big and clean. I loved the peace and quiet, the gardens was very lovely and big enough so that you dont intrude on someone else....

This place had been recommended by friends, so we tried to get accomodation for one night... they had only the honeymoon suite left ... so we booked it ;-) This room is very spacious and also has a big bathroom. The interior is beatiful but not very functionally. There is not much room to hang up clothes ... this is...

This was our third visit to Mimosa Lodge and we sincerely hope that there'll be a fourth. Bernie and Fida are the most fabulous hosts. This place is really more of a small hotel. This time we stayed in the 'honeymoon suite' complete with it's own pretty garden area and plunge pool and were there for 2 nights. We timed...

On our way to the south coast we made stop at Mimosa Lodge. A wonderful historical house with a warm welcome, quiet and relaxing garden and spacious rooms. The dinner was the best we ever had in South Africa.

We stayed unfortunately only one night at Mimosalodge but it was the best we had during our trip to the Cape. Stylish location, excellent food and wines and a very nice staff. Looking forward to stay here again on our next trip to South africa.

Mimosa is very relaxed and laid back, but don't let that fool you! This is a serious hotel, where food and service are tops, and attention to detail is everything. Our 4 course meal in the evening was excellent, and the wine which was paired with the meal was also great. The wine is also made and labelled Mimosa. Bernie...

Beautiful historic town. Excellent service where the reception done by Bernie as well as pre dinner drinks by the same Bernie and the waitressing exactly the same Bernie was just a pleasure. Sumptuous meal. Will return. Surrounding things to do. Lovely gardens. Hot springs

I was one of 45 fortunate friends to attend a weekend 70th Birthday celebration at this remarkable establishment. From the moment I arrived until departure I experienced top-notch levels in all aspects of the hospitality industry - from the most country-friendly, courteous, efficient members of staff to management (owner-couple) who clearly know how to run a successful business. The framed...
