Every penny is worth spend here. Serene nature, good food , lot of books to read and lot of funfilled activities..come and enjoy time with yourself. Must visit botanical farm , unique idea of naming rooms on authors . Clean place , nice maintained swimming pool, seperate room for playing table tennis , open area for cycling , archery and many more to keep you excited.
The resort is located around 10 km from Paud towards Girivan. The road condition is patchy, full of potholes. Property is well maintained. Main building has 2 type of rooms on first floor. I suggest to opt for deluxe rooms even if you are a couple as standard rooms are slightly compact. Swimming pool is decent enough to keep kids busy. The best part is food. I was impressed with the overall spread and taste. Non veg spread can be improved. Break-fast spread needs improvement but taste wise full marks! Staff is courteous and polite. The Ark wellness resort is a good choice for a night or two with family away from busy city life...!!
We visited The Ark in Nov 2021 -- our yearly Diwali family outing--- this place was recommended by my daughter who had visited twice earlier & was full of praise---- Sorry to say We were Very Very DISAPPOINTED. The place needs an immediate touch of paint, deep cleaning of the rooms & Toilets, plumbing work specially with the basin taps-- pathetic. Mould, dirt everywhere. Air-conditioning kept going Off through the night several times, upon informing Mr Pushkar, the manager, next morning he said he would look into it--- but unfortunately we had the same experience the next day too, we had opted for 4 of their bigger rooms & it got very warm & uncomfortable through the night. Indian food was tasty but menu is sadly planned. Am sure none of the younger generation would like to eat Brinjals , Parwal ki sabzi & just sauteed French beans & carrots for Lunch. Rotis were very soft, fresh & hot but took too long to be served. They have just 14 rooms & looks like they were not prepared for the Busy Weekend-- They ran out of Bread for breakfast!!!!! ----- So disappointing On the 2nd day our room was not cleaned at all -- wherein we were in & around the premises untill 4.30 pm. The surrounding area of the property is beautiful. Swimming pool--- An Absolute NO-- guests were getting in with their T- Shirts & leggings----- no cleanliness--no respite from screams of kids even in the afternoon--- since the pool is situated in the centre of the property it echoes & is an absolute nuisance. All in all --- would never recommend this place to anyone for sure.…
I visited Ark with my family for Diwali weekend and we booked 4 Deluxe rooms at this property. This was my third visit to Ark and I was extremely disappointed to see how the boutique resort has changed. Firstly, the place has become dilapidated with lights hanging in the bathroom, mold everywhere, basins and bathrooms in shoddy conditions. Cleaning and dusting leave much to be desired and there is dust and dirt in the rooms on almost all surfaces. The interiors were once warm but now feel dank and dingy with low lighting and mismatched curtains. All meals are included and the food menu is poorly planned. The same yellow gravy is repeated for at least one vegetable in every lunch. The food was oily but decent. However, the choices were limited and the service was bad. One breakfast, they ran out of bread. For almost all lunches the staff was not prepared for the Diwali rush crowd and we waited for rotis while the rest of the food went cold. Meals were often served late (even after there being a set menu and set timings) and we had to keep asking for some items because things would not be brought out on time. The pool was very dirty. Also, because there were no timings, our afternoons got extremely loud and noisy with kids splashing around. The noise was especially loud because the structure encourages the echoing of sound. The lift didn't work. Our AC's kept going off in the night. The shrubs in the garden were overgrowing and not well maintained. The list goes on. There were lots of rules and sometimes it didn't feel like a vacation. Because I have been here before, I understand how much better this place could be. I have been here when Mishal and Prasanna were managers and the service was what one went for. I have even recommended this place to so many friends. I am really upset to see how bad this place has become, especially because I insisted that our family visit here for Diwali. Needless to say, I won't be going back. The one extra star in the review is for the location, which is great.…
We stayed here for 2 nights to celebrate our 10th wedding anniversary. The resort staff went out of their way at every opportunity to make us feel at home and cater to our every need. The food served was delicious and its worth going there just for the food. The property is situated in a beautiful area of Maharashtra and there is breathtaking scenery all around. The resort itself is beautifully maintained and there are many centuries old antiques adorning the premises. Special thanks to Pushkar, Rohit, Milan, Shyam and all the other members of the staff who's names I don't know. Thank you for making our stay unforgettable. We will surely be returning soon.
Was good. Cut one point for food. Could have been better. The taste was fine, but overall planning of the menu could have been better. Other than that, great hospitality, good ambiance and value for money! Good place to go with friends or family.
Stay was good, Property is surrounded with Lush green vegetation ,with lots and lots of plantations. The staff is very courteous and helpful. For eg inspite of regular buffet they prepared khichdi for my 1 year old daughter. Rooms are very comfortable
Our two days stay in The Ark Wellness Retreat was excellent. It is a very good resort in all aspects. Rooms, cleanliness, food, service, staff, ambience, surrounding, spa, library, indoor games - everything was fantastic. We enjoyed a lot. We forgot our daily life for two days.
We had a very good time at Ark- the location is superb and the staff is very courteous attending to every need. We enjoyed the spa there. It was a good relaxing vacation, far from city's hustle-bustle- nestled right amidst the nature. We spent time reading books, wandering in the garden and areas around. The terrace and the deck was the highlight of the hotel. Would love to visit again. Would help to introduce healthy food options in the menu. Thanks.
This is place is just perfect for a getaway. I initially stayed on 29th July with my wife and kid and I simply fell in love with the place so this time with my entire family revisited on 15th August and this time it was even better. Though this time it was more crowded but there was no compromise either with following safety protocols, food taste, on time service and cleanliness. Staff was courteous, rooms were neat, clean and sanitized. Overall if you are looking to get away from hustle bustle of your city life this place is a savior with beautiful scenic views and calm. Would highly recommend this place to everyone.. Thank you..
