The Ancient Romans were the first who built healing baths in Thrace and taught the locals how to cure themselves with thermal water. The Banya village was founded on a site of one of the Roman baths. Roman baths are history now, but the Thermal SPA Hotel Roman Bath will introduce the traditions of hydrotherapy and modern pleasures of holidays in Bulgaria to you! The Thermal SPA Hotel Roman Bath nourishes its guests with gourmet food of Bulgarian and European cuisine. Our hotel’s thermal SPA complex uses water from a healing natural mineral spring with +58 ºC temperature. Two pools of 400 m3 and 600 m3 with different water temperatures, a variety of baths, saunas and numerous SPA treatments will help you to improve both mind and body. For those who need to organize a business event, we have two conference rooms with all the necessary viewing equipment and experienced personnel. Free Wi-Fi access is available on the whole hotel’s territory. We are glad to work both with groups and individuals, adults and children, or even with sports teams looking for a place to train. Hotel parking will shelter guests’ cars for free. You will fell yourself at home at the Thermal SPA Hotel Roman Bath. Our goal is to give our guests comfort, warmth and relaxation, to create a friendly atmosphere. We want you to come back to us another time, as if we were your relatives.

The biggest treasure is mineral water. There are over 70 thermal springs around. The thermal spring of the hotel is 58 degrees Celsius and the water is also for drinking. Thermal spa hotel with two large swimming pools. One is suitable for children, 110 cm deep. The larger pool has a large Jacuzzi. Five star SPA center: a Roman bath, Turkish bath, saunas, ice room, tangents and pearl baths. Wide green park with playgrounds. The neighboring village has no attractions, but you have Bansko 5 km away, the beautiful Pirin Mountain for hiking and skiing. The price includes a dinner with live evergreen music. Lovely Mountain views of the three mountains around. Very friendly staff. Suitable for conference tourism also.

Great place for relaxing, and for families with kids. Food is good as well. There are not so many options for sightseeing in walking distance, but town of Bansko and Pirin mountain is easily reachable. Parking is crowded and may seem strange to foreigners.

The hotel it self is ok and serves the perpouse very well having in mind that it uses thermal resources. The spa offers variety of contents and everything is well done. There are two pools with thermal water and one big jacuzzi.Everything is well maintained and very thoughtful organized and connected with warm connections. But have in mind that it is crowded even on working days. We had an apartment and the space is enough. The problem is the extra bed that they offer for the child. It is a sofa that transforms into bed but I would like to see the one that offers this as an extra bed to sleep on it. We didn’t use it and I suggest that they don’t offer it at all. It doesn’t complement with other services that they offer. Another thing that doesn’t go well with good content and good service in the spa is the personal at the restorant. Maybe we just got bad luck, but let me just say that the waitresses are the few people that you contact during the stay and they affect your stay and impressions of the place for sure. Our waitresses seemed like they didn’t know the first thing about guests, or being polite or even just being proffesional. Maybe it was incidental but bad enough to ruin good impressions. The food it self is good value for the money. The place is isolated but it doesn’t have the capacity to make up for this, although the environment around it offers some impretion that you are in nature, but it is not a breathtaking view. All considered it is an average experience that doesn’t have the X factor to wow you.

Nice location, very friendly staff. Good facilitoes and spa menu. Prices are very reasonable. They could think of an upgrade or refurbishment of the rooms and restaurant, as they seem outdated and worn-out. Restaurant food quality is average. The mineral water is great as well as some on site sports facilities, though an extra charge is added.

The hotel is very nice, big and very clean rooms, quiet and excellent for families or couples. We had great time and had a fresh restart after a long working week. The two pools with warm mineral water are amazing, the SPA area is very well arranged - Turkish bath, Roman bath, sauna, cold room, rest rooms... all you need to relax. We loved the food served in the restaurant. Staff is very friendly and polite.

Our rooms were decently clean, towels and extra bedding was provided. The hotel has a large number of rooms but you could still enjoy your stay in peace and quiet. The hotel has two different swimming pools, one is deeper than the other and they differ in temperatures as well. There are also spa services available for a decent price not to mention there are about 5 different saunas, each a different treatment which are free for hotel residents.

This hotel is very clean and very well run. The room was wonderful. Great value for the money. if you are looking for 5 star food which is included for breakfast and dinner this is not the place for you. However, The buffet is very acceptable and always a good choice at both meals. The downstairs spa was exceptional including two warm water indoor pools and everything else you would expect. Very friendly staff. I have no complaints. We enjoyed our stay completely and plan to stop again next June when we go back to Greece.

The SPA center is very big and nice. There are two big indoor pools. One of them is a big indoor pool for kids, the weather is warm, and there is a slide on the pool, the kids have a lot of fun there. Separately from that pool is the other indoor pool, with warm termal water and also there is a big jacuzzi connected with that pool. This pool is connected with the rest of the SPA center, and everything in it is great. Everything in the SPA centre is free of charge. I can say that everything is great except the staff, they were not friendly at all. The rooms are also good, old furniture but clean.
