Really unfriendly, agressive signs everywhere, no kitchen equipment, unhelpful staff, cold and over priced. Even bedding cost extra. We felt very unwelcome. Miles away from anywhere else. Stay somewhere else.

The fun police are definitely in residence here. There are so many 'forbidden' signs you felt very unwelcome and terrified of doing something wrong...and no wifi options either.

We arrived at Tongariro Holiday Park through a boomed security gate to give the Alpine Crossing a go but the weather was dank, the views non existent and the rain was torrential.
