For the price you get what you pay for. Yes it is dated but it is functional, clean and friendly host. Only critism was the spa was luke warm. Not that I would have used it but I was hoping it would keep the kids entertained for an hour but they only lasted 3 minutes in it.

Great prices for rooms with plenty of space. Very friendly proprietors. Suited what we needed for a quick stay, nothing fancy but clean and comfortable. Nice to have a tramp for the kids to use. We had a pleasant stay.

Very relaxing environment and most accommodating management. Clean and spacious home away from home. Walked outside to enjoy beautiful countryside. About a 3 min drive outside of township of Otorohanga

First interaction with staff was influenced by a badly worded email regarding transport from station. Not enough information given. The two bedroom unit had sleeping for five and seating for two. Initially only one hand towel and one face washer for four adults! Some of the kitchen utensils were so old we wouldn't have used them. The cooker was old...

So dreadfully disappointing. Not only was the unit terribly out dated but the cleanliness left a lot to be desired. There was mould on the ceiling in the bathroom and the whole place had a damp musty smell. For four adults in a two bedroomed unit there was only seating for two unless you sat on the bed in the...

Stayed here as a young couple with 10 month old baby driving around NZ. The room was a self contained apartment with kitchen, toilet, shower and 2 beds (1x double and 1x single). Pros * Great friendly service - helped connect internet on my device by fixing my proxy settings! Took almost 20mins but they were so patient and determined...

There is a pool and a hot tub...good selling point, but for us the room is more important. Bed was comfortable enough, but we had to wash all utensils before using. We spent all night swotting bugs. Much of the night and early morning listening in graphic detail to every movement of the family who lived above. I hate to...

The motel was clean, quiet comfortable and the owner friendly and helpful. Our unit had a new heatpump which was appreciated but we couldn't figure out the confusing icons on it.The owner came to our unit to show us how it worked and said she would put instructions in the room.

Comfortable bed, clean spacious room. Good wifi signal and REAL milk (not UHT pottles). The decor isn't going to inspire you but the price is right. We were in room 12 which I think would be the quietest - all the way down the bottom of the driveway. Traffic noise was very minimal. Friendly hosts. Would definitely stay here again!
