My partner and I had the pleasure of staying at Manzanilla for a long weekend. The location is beautiful and secluded, not another cabin in sight! We flew in to Cessnock Airport so did not have a car. The hosts, Dominic and Jane were absolutely fabulous, nothing was too much trouble. They transferred us to and from the airport and... More

My partner and I stayed at Manzanilla Ridge whilst attending the Bruce Springsteen concert. It was the perfect weekend after a hectic start to the year. Dominic and Jane were the perfect hosts. A wealth of local knowledge and accommodating in every way but also in a way that you wouldn't know they were there. We felt like we were... More

We had a wonderful time at Manzanilla Ridge & Hunter Valley, the location was secluded but close to wineries and entertainment. The house was clean, well stocked( coffee machine, bread maker and breakfast hamper) and in a very quiet setting, perfect for a few days of relaxation. Great outdoor Jacuzzi perfect for an evening relaxing after a hard day touring... More

My wife and I spent a wonderful 3 days at Manzanilla. The location is idyllic, the cabins are private and well appointed. The cleaning inside was excellent, outside no so good, muddy footprints around the spa from previous guests. And at $350 per night I was disappointed to see the drawers in the bedside table were broken, the hairdryer was... More

When we first arrived Dominic was so welcoming and helpful, even arranging our wine-tasting tour for the next day! The cottage was magical, like our own little chalet, and the view from the spa was amazing. We especially enjoyed spotting the wildlife coming and going and being sung to each morning by the chorus of birds. We would definitely return... More

We loved everything about our trip to Manzanilla Ridge - from the hosts to the food, from the cabin to the kangaroos that greeted us each morning. Just minutes away from amazing wineries, and great vistas. Manzanilla Ridge is not only a country escape, but a perfect spot to unwind in the lap of luxury. Looking at the stars from... More

My husband and I just got back from three nights at manzanilla ridge. We had a lovely stay and came home relaxed and ready to head into the onslaught of the Christmas period. We took our ten week old baby which worked out to be fine. We stayed in the maracas cottage which had plenty of room for the three... More

My partner and I stayed here for three great nights. The cottage we were in was stunning and exactly what we were looking for. Anytime we thought of something we needed it was there. My fiancé and I stayed at Manzanilla Ridge for a much needed relaxing break. When we arrived and pulled up to the front of our cottage we were so impressed, it was even better in person than in the photos we had seen - the accommodation was absolutely beautiful and the surroundings were so peaceful. Two nights was just not... More

Stayed here in early November. Very friendly hosts- very accommodating. Great location for exploring. Fantastic setting (stayed in Salcombe cottage)- lots of wildlife, very secluded. Good breakfast and plenty of stuff in the cottages if the weather is hit and miss. Only downside is the price is a little steeper than other places around but overall definitely worth the money.
