We felt welcome straight away and at home. Our room was extremely comfortable and clean. Breakfast was a good start to the day. The B&B is set in huge grounds which were lovely to look out upon during breakfast. 'Roos could be seen by the road amongst the trees. Julie recommended places to eat and was full of information. Star...

This is a great base for exploring the cellar doors of the Hunter Valley. We were welcomed warmly by Julie and Jan and our room was clean and spacious. Nothing was too much trouble and we were given ideas of places to go to eat. Although only a continental breakfast, it was all fresh and topped up when needed. We...

What a great place to stay this is. Wonderful hosts, clean rooms and best of all, the setting! How many places have you stayed at where you can say that outside is a field with kangaroos roaming?! If you are wine tasting, there are many wineries just a short drive away, plus an OK pub for an evening meal down...

Amazing location right near to all the cellar doors and close to some great restaurants, Julie was absolutely fantastic settled us in right away and gave us ideas of what to do in the area. The continental breakfast had a good choice and was fresh! The room was really comfortable even for the 3 of us and was very clean....

We went there for a weekend and had a horrible experience. Rooms were very small and not well cleaned. Terrible sheets and blankets as had holes in them. Never saw any staff around. Breakfast was stale cereal and what appears to be left over chopped apples and oranges. This property is way overpriced!!! Stayed at hostels that were better

Dear Anna, I'm sure your review would be valid if it was us that you stayed with. I'm sorry but we do not have blankets we have lovely fluffy doonah, our sheets are laundered by an outside source, and we certainly do not serve stale cereal or chopped up anything for breakfast. It would be interesting though to know who...

We enjoyed our lovely overnight stay en route to Armidale. Relaxing, clean and cosy bush setting. Lovely continental breakfast complete with real coffee - both plunger and pods. Loved waking up and opening the French doors to watch the morning from bed.

We stayed in this B&B to go to a concert we found it clean and tidy .The property is very private we brought some cheese and wine to enjoy on the verandah. Good location for concerts you could get the bus from the corner but we drove as it was very hot weather.

More than happy with an overnight stay. Lovely corn fritters and bacon for breakfast as well as a generous continental breakfast. Comfortable beds and lovely hot shower. Gorgeous dog Mojo who loves you to throw the ball for him to fetch. Floorboards a bit creaky so I was worried I would disturb others as I was up early for a...

The Hunter Valley Bed & Breakfast is nothing like we had anticipated or as advertised on the website. This is actually less than a 2 star rating property as I worked in the travel industry for a long time and well experienced in evaluating accommodation. The problem is the owners have many businesses as they advised this themselves. This is...
