My family and I booked the hunter hideaway for a weekend (Chardonnay cabin), and when we arrived I took one look at the milk crate (that I believe may be doubling as a table) and started to worry.
After scanning the cabin, the ripped furniture...More

I enjoyed our stay a lot. Accommodations are basic. But you have tons of space. There are kangaroos around a lot (which was great for the kids).

Nice little cottage, clean, tidy, near to things in the Wine Area. Pet friendly and great for kids with open areas right outside and far enough away from other cottages to still be very private. A super couple ofdays in peace and quiet.

Considering making a reservation here for 3 nights in June as it is pet friendly and we have a well behaved border collie dog. WE are 2 adults hence 1 bedroom would be sufficient. Are the cabins well spaced to provide privacy? Website seems a bit vague re inclusions ie is there an individual BBQ for each cabin, type of heating, travel time to main vineyards etc

Hunter Hideaway Cottage is pet friendly allowing pets on site. The cottages have a front veranda which they can stay on. With each cottage being 100 metres apart allowing plenty of room for them to run around. Although pets are not encouraged inside the cottages. Depending on the type of pet and its usual circumstances if the pet is to be inside at times a charge of $25- per pet and a bond of $50- is required to ensure the pet remains off furniture and insure against any damage etc. It is also required that you take your pet with you at the times that you leave the cottages and for them not to be left inside the cottages.
Each cottage has there own BBQ with the cottages being 100 mts apart gas log fire and r/ c a/ c for heating and cooling.
Tariff depends on if you were thinking mid week or weekends.
