This should be a negative review, so others would not discover this gem of a camp site. Just spent a week there with the grown up kids, after a break of a few years. It is an even more special place. Not only can you camp where you like and light a fire, but it is near the beach and...

Massive campsite located in the national park, right on some beautiful sand dunes to enjoy breakfast on. Tim's Cafe has coffee and light bites, however, there is no camp kitchen so it is built for the well-equipped camper. Good showers with hot water, only last 4 minutes.

Camped here for three nights and really enjoyed it. It was a bit crowded on the Friday night, but not too loud. Love that most campsites have lots of shade from gum trees. The bathroom facilities were pretty clean and the shower was scalding hot!! We had our own gas grill so didn't use the ones available. It's about a...

What a beautiful little camp spot. It can get quite busy we were lucky our friends arrived and got a good spot. Bathrooms are large and clean in non peark times. When everyone has finished at the beach its busy but most times it was clean and quiet. Lots of wildlife about . 10/10 we will be back

Always have a excellent time staying at the camping ground! Great bathroom facilities although small but always clean and tidy. Stunning short 5 minute bush walk to beach. The camp ground is surrounded by bush land which makes it very peaceful. however doesn't get very good phone reception, but a short walk to the beach fixes that. Staff very friendly...

Thank you for the review of our camp . We are so glad you had an "excellent" time at Treachery. We do try hard to keep our amenities clean and tidy, which can be somewhat difficult with black sand! Yes, phone reception is not good and a reason some people come here to have a rest from technology. A short...

We camped at Treachery camp at the end of April / beginning of May, and we loved it. we had such a great time, so much to see and do! Its got the best of both worlds, camping in a bush setting with a campfire and just across the dune to the beach. Sunrise on the beach and up the...

I stayed in treachery camp in April 2016 and had the worst time. For starters, the camp is tiny, like there is no space for camping at all. It doesn't have a day spa or room service? It's infested with man eating reptiles and zombie chickens that plagued our site. All the other campers were stupid and annoying and I...
