If you're looking for isolation and a intimate, warm, personal atmosphere, you should seriously consider Villas Chimay. The property is far far from the others and is on the opposite end of the beach from the other, larger hotels. One can easily make up for the commute to dinner in town by renting a bike or golf cart, but you... More

My daughter and I just spent 3 nights at Villas Chimay and found it to be a wonderful little place. The rooms are lovely and the folks who run it were friendly and helpful and always available for whatever we needed . July is hot and humid, so be prepared. I stayed for my last two nights on Holbox at Villas Chimay. It's located about a kilometer from the town center and nicely secluded. It was a great contrast from staying near the town center. This was one of our favourite hotels during our trip to Yucatan ! It has a beautiful quiet location on the quiet island of Holbox, so it's the ultimate insider tip for really relaxing holidays.
