My friend Amy and I stayed in Hacienda La Catrina for three nights, as part of a two-week tour around the Yucatan peninsula. It was by far our best accommodation. The B&B is perfectly located, at walking distance from the port, the centre and the beach. Alejandrita and her husband were delightful, they helped us planning activities and having a...

Stayed here a couple nights. Close enough to beach and center of town. I enjoyed Roberto and Alijandrina's conversations and learned alot about the island. The rooms were tidy and clean, great wifi, safe location, and a couple of blocks from everything on the island. The 2 dogs were welcomed company for a solo traveller. Great place, great service, great...

Holbox is the perfect place to be on a vacation, and at Hacienda La Catrina you'll get a wonderfull acommodation. It's not right at the beach, but everything is close at Holbox. :) Only a short walk and you'r right at the plaza of the island, and a few minutes more- on the beach. Roberto and Alejandrina is so nice...

Stayed for three days with Roberto, awesome guy. We were fourteen and a baby, and both Roberto and his wife handled the situation with ease, even making breakfast for everyone. The rooms were tidy and clean, a couple of blocks from everything in the island. Great place, great service, great choice!

Stayed here a week. Close enough to beach and center of town. Cooked in kitchen and roberto was helpfull by bringing missing items. Comfortable bed. Wifi worked. Roberto came by to clean the room daily and we enjoyed his conversations. Holbox was a great place to spend a week and I recommend the studio catrina.

There are studios and the house which is a B&B, we stayed in the B&B. I would recommend this place as a good option in holbox, the rooms were quite clean and location good BUT the owner is a bit overbearing and patronising for my liking, if youre someone who likes their space-you may feel like youre staying in someone's...

I just finished a lovely week-long stay at Estudios La Catrina, and I so enjoyed my time there! The apartment was bright, spacious, and so comfortable. Everything in the place feels new; there were beautiful paintings on the walls, a nice breeze and a great little kitchen. It was immaculate, and Roberto kept it that way, coming by each day...

Dear Rachel, We are so glad having met you. I understood your fears at first, being alone, but Holbox is a very quiet and safe place, and the Estudios in an "intimate" and "centric" place in town. we are personally very glad that you could relax and mostly concentrate on your PHD text. I hope to have a copy one...

We spent three nights at Hacienda La Catrina during the whale shark season. Holbox in itself was the highlight of our Yucatan-trip, and I am very glad we chose La Catrina. The room and facilities were clean, the breakfast was better than most continentals we have had (fresh papaya juice, yum!) and it is located only 4-5 blocks from the...

Dear friends, Alejandrina and I are very pleased your stay was good at hacienda la Catrina. Our effort is mainly to make our guests feel at home and you were very friendly guests indeed. I hope some of the heat may have gone back along with you in the cold Sweden, when you`ll return home, maybe you'll remember us! Alejandrina,...

This is a cute and personal little b&b. We stayed in a private room with its own bathroom, air con and fan. They supply a continental breakfast with a different fresh blended juice every morning. It is a very short walk to the centre where all the shops/restaurants and a laundromat. The owners Alejandrina, Roberto and their daughter Puka are...

“The bed and breakfast and los estudios are separate locations, down the road a bit from each other. Both are great, it just depends on the experience you want, as the B&B is more intimate and you'll have more contact with others, and los estudios are more like independent apartments.”
