This was my second visit to Holbox, and after staying at Blatha I would never think of staying anywhere else. The food is fresh and AMAZING (vegan quesadillas!), the hotel itself is lovely and organic, but what we appreciated the most was the warmth and grace of the very kind people/staff. We stayed in the second building closer to the...

My girlfriend and I really enjoyed our stay at Casa BlatHa. The staff is very friendly. The place quickly becomes a second home. The food is freshlyprepared (in many cases harvested in their own yard!). The location is quite good, not right on the beach, but only a few steps away. The balconies with sea view are quite nice. But...

We found this hotel online and were only hoping it would be decent enough to shelter us during our trip to this amazing island. It was absolutely beyond our expectations! Though the rooms are quite simple, its proximity to the beach and isolated calm from town make this place wonderful. What makes it truly perfect is the staff: Daniel, the...

Thank you Daniel, and the entire staff of Casa Blatha. It was a purely enjoyable stay with a beautiful room, relaxing hammocks (in and out of the room!) and a fantastic breakfast. The complimentary breakfast was really good with different choices including a hearty oatmeal/porridge type dish that was a great way to start the day (packed with fruits &...

The perfect place to relax, to enjoy the sun, the ocean and the birds. 10 min far from the pueblo, you can reach it by bike. Very quiet, it offers vegeterian cousine and yoga by night below the stars. Very recommended Gianluca

Here's the thing, it's not another sterile marble palace in the Yucatan - Casa Blat'Ha' s elegance is in its simplicity and its grace. Located on a very quiet and sparsely populated end of Isla Holbox, it takes you far from your everyday life and yet makes you feel at home. You are merely steps from the most beautiful and...

My girlfriend and I wanted a relaxing, quiet vacation that wouldn't starve our already skinny bank accounts beyond the point of no return. We decided to go to Holbox on a whim, and ended up in Casa BlatHa because it sounded like it fit our qualifications. From the moment we stepped up the vine-shrouded stairs into the warm, welcoming lobby-room,...

I have to say this place was by far the most beautiful, luxurious and comfortable place to stay on the island. And, compared to other places on the island I would never stay anywhere but here if I ever went back to Holbox (which I'm already planning to do!!) Casa Blatha is on the other side of the island walking...

Casa Blatha’s website has great pictures, but no pictures can do justice to the beauty and absolute tranquility you will find there, a feeling that is spread all across the wonderful piece of paradise that is Holbox Island. My girlfriend and I stayed there for 5 nights after spending time on Cozumel, and waking up each morning to look up...

A hearty thank you to Daniel and his entire staff for making our stay in Holbox absolutely brilliant. Daniel has built a paradise just a few steps from the turquoise sea. The views are wonderful, particularly from his rooftop terrace. The rooms, including bathrooms, are clean and well cared for. But it is Daniel and his staff (Wilbert, Daniela and...
