Beautiful people, beautiful location, beautiful food, beautiful experience. I will be back! Chef Ana and her husband Robb have created a truly unique experience at La Villa Bonita. From the time I made my reservation online with Robb, I felt truly cared for. Every detail was attended to, from picking me up at the airport, to making sure I had...

We have traveled the globe and the week spent at La Villa Bonita was one of the best vacations of my life! We were picked up at the airport by the staff and whisked out of Mexico City and a short time later arrived in Tepoztlan, an amazingly charming town nestled in the mountains. We had a wonderful dinner our...

Disappointing. We’ve been to culinary schools in Italy, Portugal and Spain and had some high expectations of La Villa Bonita based on their website. Unfortunately, they didn't deliver. The good – The optional day tour of the ruins of Xochicalco and Taxco with guide Arturo. He is knowledgeable and personable. The highlight of our trip. The not-so-good – Chef Ana...

There is a saying that “the customer is always right.” In our over 15 years of experience at La Villa Bonita, that is the case 99.9% of the time. When we receive sincere criticism, we take it to heart and foster appropriate action....but sometimes you get that .1% who are insincere, have an ulterior motive, and direct their comments to...

Relaxing, fun, learned a lot, slept well in the mountain air, and ate simply fabulous Mexican food (this cannot be understated, Ana is an incredible, creative chef cooking with fresh ingredients..) in this beautiful little boutique hotel in the Tepozlan mountains. Chef Ana makes you feel part of the family, while letting you have the space you want. She fed...

Our experience was like a culinary fantasy camp with a a great host city - Tepoztlan , a beautiful stadium- the Villa grounds- talented and enthusiastic teammates - the fellow guests, a winning organization - the Villa staff, all operating under the coordination/ direction of All Star manager Chef Ana. Dishes like Chiles en Nogada , Ceviche, and Impossible Cake...

This was all we hoped it would be - and more. The class was small - 6 people - and very enthusiastic. Their ages ranged from about 60 to 43. The instructor of the class - Ana - was excellent. She was well prepared, very social, and really responsive to the group. The group made daily walking trips to the market...

We are growers of fruit and vegetables in N.W. Washington. We like to visit areas where there is some overlap of fruit and produce that we grow and where there are new varieties to look at in a new region. We stayed with Robb and Ana for a week and wanted to experience the area itself in Tepoztlan as well...

My husband, 2 sons 26 and 32 yrs. plus cousins with 26 yr old daughter all spent xmas at Villa Bonita. It was a great family vacation. Shopping, cooking and eating together with other guests was great fun. Ana has wonderful instincts for meal planning, executing and teaching. She does a great job engaging everyone in a task. I just spent a week over Christmas at La Villa Bonita. As a single woman I was looking for a vacation where I would be engaged in an activity I enjoyed, learn something and not feel uncomfortable travelling solo. The week at La Villa Bonita fulfilled all of these goals and then some. Ana is a wonderful chef, truly passionate...

We stayed in La Villa Bonita for 5 nights in September 2013. When we arrived, Ana the host brought us first to our room, one of the 5 rooms Villa Bonita has, and we loved it instantly. The rooms are very nicely decorated; they have a lot of character, there is extra seating and they have a perfected sized bathroom....
