It is hard to explain in words the fishing trips at the Frasier River Lodge. We have been on some fishing trips through other providers, but stumbled upon Frank a couple years ago and booked a trip through the lodge in fall 2015. The sturgeon and salmon fishing was awesome. The accommodation, lodge and employees were the best we have...

I can only echo everything that my fishing buddy, Neil B, has already written about FRL and the wonderful, friendly and expert (each in their own special ways) folk who are all so devoted to ensuring their guests have the best time possible. Frank is a force of nature; so passionate about and excited by what he does. He is...

First off I cannot lie, the food was wonderful. The bison was perfect, and the service wasn't bad. Now the cons. The decking is treacherous for heels of almost any height. The security was extremely rude and went so far at to push a guest. The music must be shut down by eleven. Very small space with no dance floor....

Dear Wedding Guest, we appreciate that you`ve enjoyed the wonderful food and service. -Our decking is made out of lumber in order to flow with the rustic ambience of our log lodge. Our maintenance department checks the floor boards weekly as part of our maintenance program. Should we have overlooked any floor boards during your stay, we apologize. -Security is...

We arrived via Abbotsford Airport which a 40 minute drive to the lodge. As we arrived in the morning and check in is not until 4:00 pm we took the opportunity to play a round of golf at a nearby course. Due to traffic we arrived later than we expected to the lodge; they were very accommodating and the check...

No website images or reviews can really prepare you for the assault on the senses that a fishing trip to Fraser River Lodge will bring you. Since we booked our five day fishing trip in May, we conjured up images in our minds of what we would experience but even our dreams were surpassed when we came to FRL in...

I brought my two young adult sons for our annual "boys" fishing trip. Our trip was outstanding, with 3 days of fantastic fishing. We started out with a wilderness trip to catch wild salmon and trout. Frank, who is the lodge owner was our guide. He likes to get an early start (breakfast at 3:30 am, hit the road at...

Very accommodating, friendly staff, reception (Belinda), Devon (fishing apparel), restaurant staff, Danny (breakfast chef), Frank (the owner). Comfortable, clean rooms and communal areas. The food was of excellent quality and we enjoyed what we had. Lodge overlooks a beautiful mountain and the river. Our fishing guide, Dan, was very knowledgeable and put us on sturgeon all day long. He was...

Not one to give a 5 star rating, I mean, no one is perfect right? But honestly, after a 5 day fishing, 4 night stay, I can't think of a single thing that wasn't perfect, seriously. My fishing buddy Scott and I choose the Fraser River Lodge for our 8th Annual Summer Fishing Adventure with one purpose in mind.....catch a...

We stayed four nights in complete happy satisfaction. Our room was great with jacuzzi. We fished in two rivers from bank for salmon, then launched on Fraser River and caught two sturgeon, one 6 1/2 feet long. The next day we went on the Wilderness River Trip. The scenery was wonderful and the fish, a Bull Trout and a Sockeye...

We stayed for two nights at the Lodge on a fairly last minute basis. Firstly all the staff are super friendly and could not be more helpful. Three course dinners were simply excellent and served with a personal touch, Hector and Bill really do go the extra mile in the bar and kitchen. We had one days wilderness fishing in...
