A good value for money guesthouse in the centre of Newtown, Comfortable room (not too small), decent breakfast and with good bars and restaurants very close by. Run by owners with plenty of experience in the trade and it shows!

This is a very old house and it smells damp as soon as you walk inside. Musty and lack of air circulation. My room was warm and inviting looking but was in need of a good dusting. And there was still that damp, musty smell. My colleague stayed in a room to the side of the House that is accessed...

I stayed in the family room for one night. The room was more like a suite than a bedroom with separate bathroom and dressing room. It was the little touches which impressed me: Sky TV, shower gel, shower caps, toothpaste etc. I was also pleased with the fact that there was a plug near a mirror! (So many places seem...

Really loved the room in this hotel, just so many lovely little homely touches. The landlady was very friendly and breakfast was very good. The reason I gave this a 4 and not a 5 is because it is in the centre of town, so if you are a light sleeper be aware that the church bells chime all night....

If I was asked to run a competition to name a hotel I would avoid obvious problem names. Arriving at Yesterday's with a code for the key pad I picked up the brown envelope with my name mis spelt and a key. Left to find a room the room walking through stairways and corridors with sensor lights that activated a...

My boyfriend and I found this little gem whilst on a driving holiday in wales. After travelling for hours and experiencing such beautiful sights, it was a welcome relief to be welcomed in by the proprietor, Moira. once we'd provided our info, we found a space for the car right outside. We were taken to a lovely spacious room, with...

A 5 start performance from a B&B. This B&B has everything you might need in a room to stay in. The rooms are clean and have an abudance of delights you would not get in top class hotels - Iron board, and iron, free wi-fi, hospitality tray with tea two types of coffee, hot chocoalte, Spanish wine, biscuits, lopads of...

Nice staff, easy to find, no parking and looking a little tired. However the sheets were good and the room well heated. Slightly strange conversion of the rooms but heh. Breakfast not bad though they cleared the orange juice away after my first glass! Nespresso machine :)

I had an excellent time staying at Yesterday's for three nights. The manager is very accommodating and helpful, and the breakfast was delicious (even as a vegan!). My room was spacious and comfortable. I felt very safe there and had a great stay!

Thank Liz W
