Booked a travel package including ferry and hotel from Isle of Man Steam Packet Company which made the overall cost very competitive. The attraction for my husband was the serving of real ale (in fact we found out about this hotel from the Camra good beer guide) and as promised the bar was well stocked. Although the hotel does need...

Friendly, helpful staff including the receptionist, waitresses, barman and cleaner. Very clean comfortable single room. The breakfast was the hottest, freshest I have ever had and I have travelled extensively. Generous portions and a wide choice. I will definitely go back to this hotel - it deserves a higher rating than it gets but it is not possible to install...

Booked for two days business trip because it was near location of work. Booking in at reception no problem. Went to room and found there to be no ironing facilities or hangers in wardrobe. Eventually got iron and board, but no hangers so suit and shirts hung on furniture. Room was clean, but dated and you could hear noises from...

We particularly wanted to stay in Port Erin but accommodation was hard to find. This hotel only had a family room available at £250 for 2 nights, so although we thought this expensive, we decided to book it. On arrival we were greeted by friendly helpful staff on reception and taken to our room. Pros Nice bedding and towels Free...

A comfortable, old fashioned hotel on the south coast of the Isle of Man. Staff were pleasant and I had a great night's sleep by the sea! Port Erin is a lovely town with a beautiful beach and harbour. Nice quiet stay but also easy to get around the island with a regular bus service and the Heritage Railways (steam...

Intro - We stayed in this hotel last Saturday as my gas on my boiler was cut off after a routine service, and after cold showers for a number of days just wanted a place to have some hot water and relax. A big thank you to Monique who booked us in and Lorraine, to a room over looking Port...

Beautiful old building with fading grandeur evident throughout. Friendly reception. Clean room. Powerful shower and good breakfast. Don't be put off by the two star rating. The inspector was probably having an off day.

I've stayed overnight at this hotel several times after attending musical events at the Port Erin Arts Centre. For me it's good value, relaxing and pleasant. The single room that I usually have is all that I need and the breakfasts and service is excellent. The bar and dining room overlooking the Bay has a great view out to sea...

Port Erin is a very pretty village on the southern tip of the island and within easy reach of everything the Isle of Man has to offer. The hotel is situated overlooking the bay and outwards towards the Irish Sea, with a beach suitable for young families within easy reach. The hotel is a little dated in its décor but...

Although we have to admit not the most modern in decoration, for those who love the romantic side of British tourism it is highly commendable! The rooms we had were extremely spacious, and although cold, they went out of their way to supply us with extra heating to suit our needs. They also gave us an ironing board and were...
