The romantic 4-star hotel Can Joan Capó is located in the old town of Sineu in the centre of Majorca - the perfect starting point to explore the island. To ensure peace and quiet, this is a hotel for adults only. In a historic Majorcan townhouse, the owners Noelia and Miquel run their beautiful small boutique hotel with only 10 rooms. In every room, you will find uniquely designed pieces of furniture made from oak wood and wrought iron. Handmade bedboards, tables, chairs, closets and pieces of art create a unique and very comfortable atmosphere. Every room has its own style, decor and character. The personalised breakfast is freshly prepared every morning accoding to your personal preferences and served in the sunny patio, in the cosy restaurant (where also excellent dinners are served) or in your room. I wanted to organise a surprise romantic weekend away for my girlfriend to simply relax and unwind after a short illness. I only wanted an adult only hotel and I also had some minor dietary requirements that were important. As soon as I made contact with the Can Joan Capo hotel and spoke with Noelia about my requirements I knew it was the perfect spot. From the minute we started communicating via email, no request was too big. Noelia organised for a huge beautiful bouquet of flowers to be on the bed upon arrival including a short note that I had dictated. The room and the hotel was simply amazing with a large four poster bed and a huge walk in shower with sunken hydro bath tub. As good as the room was, it was the breakfast that really made us know we were staying somewhere that took notice of every single small detail. The presentation was amazing and my girlfriend did not have to miss out on anything with her gluten and lactose intolerance. The hotel was simply amazing from winding down around the saltwater pool to the amazing food and customer service....I do not have a single complaint and I very much look forward to our next home vacation. We also fell in love with Sineu, such a beautiful and friendly village. THANK YOU NOELIA!

You and your girlfriend are great people, when the day ends I think about everything I have done during the day, sometimes I have had a very tired day but when reading your words I always say "worth it" For me it is very important the needs of the guests, I have always thought " I want to offer what I would like to receive when arriving at a hotel" so it is very important for me the satisfaction of the guest, my guests are not room numbers, are friends who come to my hotel, where they must spend the best days. The 3th time we stayed in Can Joan Capo. Nice, cosy and clean hotel with very friendly staff. They maintain the high standards since we first visited. Breakfast at your choice is not only very tastefull it's also refined. The location is superb for people (like us:)) that love the quiet, far from crowded beaches and bars. Sineu is a very authentic town. It takes only a few steps to more than 20 restaurants/bars. We miss it already!

Such a beautiful gem of a hotel in the authentic Majorcan town of Sineu. A peaceful and beautiful hotel lies behind the entrance door down a side street very close to the square where you can find restaurants. Noelia and her team are friendly and attentive and full of useful information. Breakfast is a treat, no buffet, an a la carte breakfast which was delicious and served in the peaceful courtyard. We also had dinner on 2 of our 4 evenings and again we had a delicious meal. I also had a massage which was throughly enjoyable, by a young man called Raphael , who visits the hotel by appointment. The hotel has a treatment room. The pool area is pretty and the pool itself very refreshing. Our room had a balcony with comfortable garden furniture and the room itself was extremely comfortable and characterful and maintened every day by the cleaning staff. Our thanks to Noelia, Belen, Antonia and Thelia . Would highly recommend especially if you are looking for an authentic Majorcan stay rather than a popular resort. X

The personalized attention, beautiful accommodations, and delicious food were the highlight of this hotel. Belen and Noelia were so personable and truly care about the guest experience. The location is ideal for exploring Mallorca, in the middle of the Island, and the concierges are knowledgeable and gave us amazing recommendations. We could not have chosen a better place to spend our vacation, and we hope to return!

The interior is an interesting mix of modern additions alongside the old stone walls which look like they have been there for ever. We stayed in the room called Lluminaria which had plenty of space, a great shower and a pretty balcony overlooking the pool area.
The exterior areas are obviously well looked after, and the breakfast courtyard is a lovely place to start the day. The breakfast itself is also a treat with a wide variety of options to pick from, all freshly prepared - unlike so many buffet breakfast offerings in larger hotels.
We only came across three members of staff during our stay - Noelia the owner/manager/breakfast chef, her daughter - I didn't catch her name, but she was always very helpful and always smiling, and likewise another breakfast waitress. They were all friendly and charming.
Just a word of warning, if you do stay in Sineu, we didn't find there was a lot to do there. But it works well as a base to see the surrounding areas. Unless of course you prefer to spend all day relaxing at the hotel!

We stayed here 6 nights and absolutely loved it. It is in a sweet village in the middle of Mallorca. Each of the 11 rooms is unique and each detail is taken care of from arrival to departure. The atmosphere is beautiful and relaxing. Our room was wonderful. We highly recommend this gem in Sineu.

Hands down the best place I have stayed! This beautiful boutique hotel is nestled in sineau, near the center of the island. The owner and the entire staff are professional, kind and attentive. Every detail is taken care of with love and dedication. I was very impressed and did not want to leave! The rooms are gorgeous, the view of the courtyard is soothing and you feel like you are really diving into the Majorca culture while staying here. Also, the breakfast and dinner here were superb. All fresh ingredients and the meals are prepared by the owner. Can’t say enough good things about this hotel. Will be visiting again!!

What can I say! This hotel is a beautiful, considered oasis in the heart of sineu. Belen and the staff here are so welcoming, so kind and couldn't do more to help you enjoy your stay. The courtyard is a Mediterranean dream, filled with beautiful plants and artwork, and the pool is cool and refreshing. Plenty of sunbeds in both shade and sun, it's just utterly sublime.
We didn't want to leave at all - it surpassed all of our expectations! We had a massage in our room and it was one of the best we've ever had, so definitely make sure to book one. We stayed in the suite and the view from the balcony was incredible - this balcony however does back on to the Aircon units on the roof so it's quite noisy up there, but the tranquility of the room and courtyard means there's plenty of space to relax.
We've already recommended this beautiful hotel to our friends and family, and we cannot wait to come back. Thank you so much Joan Capo!! X

It's hard to imagine a more perfect environment to spend our first two nights on Mallorca. Arriving after an overnight (and mostly sleepless) flight we were greeted with Cava in the courtyard while our suitcases were whisked away. Once we made it to our rooms we were tempted to stay but the gorgeous town of Sineu beckoned with calls of tapas on patios. We returned to poolside delights and a lovely plunge in the salt water pool. Our breakfasts in the outdoor courtyard were worthy of a food magazine spread, as was our dinner. We wandered Sineu in the late evening with a full moon shining on us. It really left like an excellent dream!This hotel is indeed a gem!

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Can Joan Capo Hotel! The room was lovely, the pool and common areas were beautiful, the food was fantastic and the staff were all charming and extremely helpful. The location in Sineu was great for our group of cyclist and the hotel has a terrific bike storage area with selection of bike tools available.
