For those who understand their holidays as a chance to relax and enjoy their cultural baggage, Son Cleda Hotel is the perfect place. A small house of the sixteenth and nineteenth century, converted into a hotel, made of stone and situated in the heart of the Village of Sineu. The entrance of the house has a large terrace that dominates the town's square. The hotel, decorated in a Mallorcan rustic style, has eight double bedrooms with two superior rooms. All of them individually decorated and equipped with all modern facilities each with its charm and countryside views, to the square and the town.

Petit hotel with personal touch. The interior is tasteful. The rooms are all different. We had a junior suite with massage shower. Only minus was the low water pressure. The hotel has a restaurant for breakfast and diner. There is parking space for the hotel. The old city is nearby. website: ---

We chose Sineu to get away from the hustle and bustle of tourist-Majorca, and this hotel based on earlier reviews. With only eight rooms in a charming old building, this is as quiet and relaxed as you can get it in Majorca. Sineu is a charming little town, and the hotel offers top service and a relaxing atmosphere. Breakfast is simple, but good, and is served on the terrace fronting the hotel. All the rooms are different and have their distinct majorcan character. Sineu is perfect for people trying to find "the real" Majorca, and a good base for exploring the island by car, and Son Cleda is the perfect place to stay! Free parking at the placa in front of the hotel.

If you want to stay in Mallorca, away from the tourist coastal hotels, then head to Sineu where you can have a piece of real Mallorca and enjoy the local bars and restaurants. There is even a railway station here for travel to Palma and it is a 5 min walk to hotel Son Cleda.
The hotel is a real treasure and with only 8 rooms not going to noisy. My superior room faced on to the front so we were able to watch the local people enjoying their bars etc. The hotel interior and my room is rustic style but yet the room has all modern facilities including a spa shower. The interior of the hotel is Spanish style even with a small internal courtyard. The bonus for some is a lift to take you up to the two floors.
The staff are very friendly and helpful even though my Spanish is non existent.

A great service, nice idyllic hotel, originally room design. I'll come back. We are not typical beach tourists - to discover the nice Sineu market, this hotel is 'in the middle of'. I saw a comment that this hotel does not have a swimming pool, which went in a more negative comment. I can not agree because when somebody wants a pool within his hotel, select one, but not in a center of a idyllic village, please.

I had a very pleasant two night stay here at the Son Cleda Hotel. From my warm welcome from Catiana, to the peaceful and tranquil setting of Sineu - I enjoyed it all. I ate both nights at the Portuguese restaurant Pastel de Nata, great food and a very friendly family running the show. I was delighted to see as I checked out that Catiana and the Potuguese family were friends. My room, and the hotel in general, were both very pleasant, traditional and clean. I don't often write reviews, but when i enjoy something some words of praise are deserved. I couldn't imagine anyone not enjoying this hotel.

A simple but neat hotel in a very central location directly at the market. Front rooms are bit noisy in particular when deliveries arrive early morning.

Rooms are spacious with simple furniture.

Limited reception services, but friendly staff. Breakfast already ends at 10 am which is too early especially for weekends.

Have just returned after spending 6 days at the Son Cleda. As expected from previous reviews it was clean, rustic, traditional all of which we liked. The only few comments we have to make is that firstly the hotel is being advertised as having a restaurant/bar but during our stay the restaurant was not open apart from Wednesday, market day! Also on our departure day there was no facility to leave baggage until our pick up time at 4pm as each guest had a front door key and entrance was locked throughout the day and as we had checked out at 11.00 am we were allowed to leave the bags in the hotel until 1.00pm but after that it meant that we had to carry the bags around with us for 3 hours in extremely high temperature. We enjoyed our stay and at the end of the day it isn't an expensive hotel however, I felt that this property should be advertised as a bed and breakfast property and not a hotel. However, if you want an inexpensive place to stay in a good location I would recommend Son Cleda

This was a cute and cozy little hotel with only 8 rooms. It had a nice interior design in an old building. We were taken care of very well during our stay. The room was pretty big, and the bathroom facilities were also good. There's free parking on the street in front of the hotel. All in all we were very satisfied.

Hi. There's a railway between Sineu and Palma (hourly), and from Palma you can access other parts of Mallorca by train or bus, so it's possible to stay in Sineu and still get around. Stig
