Certificate of Excellence
Small, family-run hotel with panoramic views to Sognefjord, Fjærlandsfjorden and Vetlefjorden. All hotel rooms have a view to the fjord, some also to Jostefonn, a part of the Jostedalsbreen glacier. Standard rooms and comfort rooms, some 3-bed rooms and cabins, also with a view to the fjord. Nice garden with sitting areas to relax. Trails and hiking tours nearby with a view. Short walk to relaxing nature park with swimming area at Lunde arboretum, about 600 meters from the hotel. The hotel is situated ca. 300 meters from Dragsvik car ferry terminal and a short drive (9 km) or bus / taxi around the charming Esefjord to Balestrand on idyllic village roads.

My tour group (12 rooms) had 3 nights in this lovely, somewhat rustic, hotel. Being ski club members and hikers, absolutely loved the rural setting, and we found hiking opportunities almost outside the door. The staff was friendly and conscientious, and the meals -- 3...More

Dear PF L! We are deeply sorry for this situation! There was a technical failure with lack of creditcard information. On arrival we tried really hard to find a room for you near by, contacted several hotels, but since it is still the main season...More

You would need to take a taxi from Balestrand. It is much too far to walk.

There are two different ferry docks; the one for ferries from Hella or Vangsnes IS very close to the Dragsvik Fjord Hotel. HOWEVER, if you are arriving via the Norled Ferry into Balestrand, the ferry dock is ~6 miles to the... More
