We were put into the attic room with no windows bar a sky light. We were expected to climb onto a chair to close the skylight blind. Very dangerous situation. When we complained we were told the hotel was full and there were no other rooms but after we contacted our travel agent a new room, in the attic, miraculously... More

This hotel is actually 2 old villas, just a few blocks from the main square, in a very quiet area. Stayed 3 nights. Our room was large, on the 2nd floor and overlooked the pool and a quiet side street. We had 3 large windows to supplement the "low" lighting. Sun streamed during the afternoon. Yes, the bathroom and shower... More

Cheap decor and uncomfortable small room. You couldn't stand up in the bathtub. Impossible to sleep in the morning because of the day light. Breakfast in a basement with no windows. Staff not professionnal.

We found this hotel after a long drive and were so glad they were able to offer us their last room. The hotel itself is like revisiting the past with the benefit of modern facilities. The food was amazing and eating outside in the square each evening was very romantic. The gracious hotel staff added to the pleasure of our... More

We stayed here 3 nights as part of an OAT group tour. It's an old building (built in the 1500s), but nicely redone and updated--very interesting place. Our room was nice, very high ceilings, with a view of the cathedral and the valley. Big bathroom. Lighting was poor--I needed a flashlight to see in my bags. Windows opened and sleeping... More

Fantastic hotel in a wonderfull City. beatifull rooms and very nice owners. The service was very good, and the hotel was an old villa, where some popes had lived in the old time. The Hotel is 3 Villas, and in one of them there is a swimmingpool.

Shower so small I couldn't pick up the soap when I dropped it. Very thin walls could hear phone conversation in next room. Hot and cold water handles are switched. The breakfast is good. Rooms are clean. Some have better views than others. Parking is 2 blocks down they have porters to bring your luggage.

This was a once in a lifetime experience for us as we had ever stayed in as it was a palace built 500+ years ago and used by,several Popes. Most important was the fact that the rooms were updated, spacious, renovations from the period. The stuff was very friendly and went out of their way to be helpful. The breakfasts were... More

Loved this historic place! The three young owners provided everything we needed. Charming sitting rooms and patio, tastefully renovated to keep the original ambiance. Has a nice pool but too cold to use during our October visit. Elevator is a little slow. Stairs are steep, and when I insisted on walking them, the desk staff sent a worker to follow... More

This was a delightful place to stay in a beautiful hillside town. The staff were very helpful and the food was wonderful. The buildings have a history but they have done a great job of restoring the rooms to modern day comforts. I enjoyed the breakfasts and ate one meal in their restaurant that was lovely.

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Trevi is located on the top of an hill along the Flaminia speedway and is a charming small medieval Borgo, rich in art, in a overlooking position with a great view towards Assisi and Spoleto. Constructed in concentric circles, Trevi resembles a spiral-shaped shell which preserves intact its ancient heart: The Complex Antica Dimora alla Rocca, composed by two adjoining, historical Buildings of the XVII Century – Palazzo Valenti & Palazzo Urighi - and by the Medieval Borghetto del Mostaccio, less than 100 feet far from these. ... more   less
