We have just returned from an absolutely amazing stay at Tetti Di Trevi, and even though we have only been home a day we all really want to go back. The house is in the most picturesque spot in beautiful Umbria, and the views from our balcony were just stunning. The house itself was a real home from home and...

Spending a week at Villa Verde, one of the beautifully furnished apartments at Tetti di Trevi, inspired my spirituality to such a point that I suggested to the owners that Tetti di Trevi would make an ideal location for a spiritual retreat. It is the most beautiful place on earth.

An ideal location above Trevi with a large sun-terrace perfect for eating outside from breakfast to sunset and affording magnificent views over the hilltop town of Trevi and the Spoleto valley. The two sun-loungers were a bonus. We spent a week in the largest of the apartments which was well-equipped, very clean and well maintained. The apartment was well situated...

Our family had a wonderful ten days here in August in two of the apartments and didn't want to come home. The apartments, views and serenity of the area are outstanding. Our host, Patrizia, was so helpful and welcoming and was always at the end of a phone to answer any questions or offer advice etc. She was wonderful. This...

We stayed in Villa Azzurra for a week in August with our 3 teenage children and had a fabulous time. We wanted peace and quiet, places to walk to on foot, a pool and a view. We got all this and more (including the most helpful hosts we could have wished for, who even gave us a basket of their...

I had a fantastic time at Tetti di Trevi. It was a perfect, central location to tour all the hotspots of Umbria. The view of Trevi and the whole of the valley from the balcony was amazing - I have some of the best sunset shots ever! The facilities at the apartments were great - nothing missing for a great...

We had a wonderful experience staying at the beautifulTetti di Trevi in Umbria. We could see Montefalco and Assisi from our balcony overlooking the beauty of Umbria. Our hosts, Fausto and Patrizia, were our guides, as well. We visited Fongoli and Sportoletti vineyards on our trip and still dream of the wines. There is only one place to stay in...

We stayed in the Villa Azzurra, which is the perfect size for a couple or family/friends of 2-4. The accomodation itself is a lovingly restored traditional Italian village home with breath-taking views across Umbria. It's pretty scenic but still well connected, the nearest town - Trevi, is only a 5 min drive down the mountain, and Assisi, Spello and other...

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Trevi, nestled in the charming hills of Umbria, is an ancient and picturesque village. The Roman Road, which is also called 'Flaminia, was rebuilt during the Middle Ages and passes through the hills that surround Trevi. This beautiful road, traveled on by Assisi, will lead you on a romantic journey in time to Spoleto and Assisi. Standing on the terrace, in front of your room, at Tetti di Trevi, the panoramic view of the wide, green, valley below reminds one that time stands still. You can easily identify the villages of Spoleto, Montefalco, Foligno, Spello, Assisi and Perugia from your terrace. Your hosts, Patrizia and Fausto Proietti, take pride in offering you a different type of vacation. The Tetti di Trevei, offers you a vacation where relaxation and the surrounding beauty of Umbria will win you over. Add 'world class' food and wine to your palate and you will never want to return home. Umbria is home to truffles and porcini mushroom, as well as the famous wines from Montefalco and Orvierto. Everyday is a gastronomic adventure. In fact, there is a yearly pasta festival in Foligno, named 'Primi d'Italia', where you can immurse yourself in pasta. Every famous chef from all of the towns of Umbria compete for First Prize in the pasta festival. The food is incredible, but the real winners are the ones who eat the dishes. Trevi is well situated and within half an hour from your room, you can hike, play tennis, fish, go horseback riding or play a round of golf. We look forward to seeing you at Tetti di Trevi, where all guests are welcome. ... more   less
