My Fiancée and I arrived in April and were stunned by the landscape and buildings. We were the only ones staying as it was off season and it was amazing to be able to travel the grounds. The staff showed us around and helped us with a wine tasting and could not have been friendlier. They were extremely helpful with...

We stayed here for one night and wished that it could have been our home for the whole trip. The room was beautiful and comfortable, but it was the castle grounds and service that made our stay unforgettable. The dinner and wine were some of the best we had on our 2 week trip through Italy, and I can't imagine...

Sadly we had to cancel our trip as my mother is losing her battle with cancer in Shrewsbury hospital. The manager from Castteloo di Tornano who rang me in the hospital was cold had no sympathy and was so insensitive I couldn't bring myself to accept alternative dates. Empathy and customer service cost nothing.. to top it all he accused...

We stayed here in April 2017 in the Romeo and Juliette room, we were so looking forward to staying in a real castle built approx. in the year 1000, in Tuscany, with a vineyard! I'm going to break this down into what we really liked, and what we would have done differently We liked: • The location, half an hour...

My wife and I stayed here for 3 nights in September 2016. We chose the castle as a place to unwind after several weeks of travelling and it did not disappoint. Things didn't look too promising at first as we ended up stranded in Gaiole, in the rain, with not a taxi in sight (that is another story). After sheepishly...

I would expect more for the price. There are rooms in the castle and outside the castle. When you book your room you don't know where your room is reserved. Ask in advance. The staff was amazing friendly. The location is also nice

What a great afternoon we had with Victor who taught us all about the wonderful wines of Castello di Tornano. He showed us around the castle and property before the wine tasting and snacks of local prociutto and cheese in the wine cellar. We had called before to make a reservation for tasting only but ended up staying for lunch...

A wonderful tranquil place to stay in the beautiful Chianti region of Italy. A family owned castle with spacious rooms decorated in classical style. Amazing views from the roof terrace. Breakfast is fine, if you know to ask for cooked eggs, omelette etc. The long drive can be rough and steep, so not well suited to low slung cars

The castle surrounding is beautiful nature. really calm, no civilization noises. Room are nice, best to stay in the castle itself. The top of the tower is accessible to enjoy beautiful sunsets. Great restaurant with tasty food and wines. A safe bet for your vacation.

Great location as it is ideally located to visit towns like Sienna, Florence but also smaller villages like st Gimijiano, Gaeole, Rada . If you like visiting wineries Castillo Di Ama and Di Volpaea are worth a visit. Our apartment was spacious but not clean to the standard expected as kitchen and bathrooms need decorating. With the money we paid...
