First we had to ring Marco as we got completely lost in Modica. As we found it, we came across him looking for us. He and his wife are very welcoming and friendly. The B & B is lovely. We had the most amazing view from our room and a private terrace. The breakfasts were good and served in a...

Wonderful B&B in a wonderful location overlooking Modica. Pros Location Views Breakfast Walking distance to town via lots of steps Ambience Green gardens chairs and general air of relaxation Cons Only really the difficulty finding it. Do not believe your GPS...it tries to send you down narrow alley ways with steps! It would be helpful if Marco gave clearer instructions...

Marco welcomed us and combines cool and congenial. The rooms are all different and are basic in a charming way - ours was effectively a converted cave and was well furnished and a unique place to sleep (in a good way). Breakfasts were superb and so were Marco's recommendations on restaurants, beaches and everything else. An unusual place to stay...

Casa Talia is probably one of the most beautiful B&Bs in Sicily and probably Italy. With an unparalleled view over town of Modica and a sublime interior design of the rooms, gardens and communal spaces. Meanwhile there are a couple of things I'd like to see improved. While I don't really care too much about warm welcome I must notice...

You are part of a time travel looking at the Sicilian history living in the Casa Talia with Marco ( the boss ). Same time you feel in a modern Architecture Atelier, I'd say the mix is very much well done . Marco is a great housekeeper and peculiar cicerone. Everyone there, is tuned with nature and slow-living life ....

This is like staying in a friend's guest house. Casa Talia is a lovely collection of stone-built rooms around small courtyards and gardens overlooking the historic centre of Modica. The view must rate as one of the best views from a hotel room in the world. Breakfast in the walled garden surrounded by scented roses, overlooking the town, was absolutely...

The owner bought a number of separate small houses over the years and made a hotel out of it. You will stay in a little house of your own (which nevertheless accommodated a whole family in earlier times) and you will leave your house and walk down the street to go to reception or for your breakfast. The views are...

We stayed a week at Casa Talia in the newest room 'Talia'. The B&B exceeded our expectations; wonderful location looking over the town of Modica, a great, quiet room with a fantastic view and a perfect combination between rustic charm and 'high-spec' bathroom facilities. We had our own garden terrace with loungers and chairs.Breakfast is a delight - a perfect...

We stayed for 4 nights in the new 'Agave' room. The hotel has free parking about 200 metres from the property, although if your car is small (think Fiat Panda/500) then you can drop off bags close to this room. Each room is separate as the owner has bought up derelict buildings in the warren of streets, so you have...

Unforgettable place, unforgettable accommodation, unforgettable couple who run the place. Outstanding location, outstanding passion from the owners, outstanding sympathy to the local architecture and to sustainability. Just a word of warning, steps, steps, steps everywhere. Do not bring more than hand luggage. We arrived by car and parking was easy and free. Quite a distance to walk to the villas,...
