We visited this masseria for 4 days in late October with our 2 children aged 5 and 2.5 and our friends with twin boys aged 2. We had a lovely time-the staff were very helpful, the food fantastic and the location is perfect for visiting many of the beautiful towns in Sicily. It's really child friendly as has a park...

Fantastic place to stay, for a relaxed few days. Ideal location to see the sights in the south of Sicily. Breakfast is very good and the home made cakes fantastic. Clean rooms with a good firm bed. The pool area is very well kept as are the gardens. The staff are very helpful and friendly.

I am not sure what more I can add to the various comments about this lovely place that has not been said before. The ladies who do the breakfast deserve to me made saints for their wonderful home made cakes; endless charm and patience, making that meal an absolute delight. Saying this a couple of suggestions - PLEASE change the...

This was a lovely, relaxed family-run Masseria. The decor is quirky, rustic and charming; the staff are endlessly helpful with nothing too much trouble; the pool is great and the whole establishment is spotlessly clean. We and our children were warmly welcomed and spent a very happy 5 days before heading on to Ortigia.

We spent 3 nights here together with our 3y old daughter. The place is an old farmhouse that has been very well restored and decorated. They have a nice new pool area where you can easily have light lunches served in the gardens. Everything you eat is made at home with home ingredients and fresh vegetables. The rooms are very...

. . . like going back in time in the hills between Modica and Pozzallo. Wonderful room with grape arbor patio and antique furniture. The breakfast was delicious and served with such cheerfulness each morning. Local antipasto tray at dinner was local, fresh and prepared with love, and the salads were a most welcome main course after so much incredible...

The masseria is a beautiful farmhouse restored to 1920s style. So don't go if you are expecting modern luxury. Rooms are spacious and clean with bathrooms that have good but small showers. The beds weren't great but again set your expectations appropriately. The owner and staff were super friendly and efficient which more than made up for this. We enjoyed...

We stayed at this Masseria in Spring time. The weather was cold but it didn't spoil the visit to this wonderfully welcoming and relaxing place. The old farm has been beautifully converted into accommodation with old-style charm. The heaters worked well for us but it was chilly at night. The owners, on the other hand, are very warm and friendly....

I didn't really know much about "masserie" before staying here at Ciancio'. I guess it's similar to an agriturismo, but it feels a little different. There's something of the "cowboy" or "guacho" about it, but more refined than that. It's like a ranch turned into a resort, and it makes for a wonderful, informal, relaxing atmosphere. There's a wonderful swimming...
