I am finally finding the time to write reviews from our two week stay in Sicily last fall. Villa Sicilia was the last of our accomodations for the final leg of our trip. The property is a bit hard to find, and even our GPS got lost. We called from the road and were guided to the property by Emerico,...

Villa Sicilia is a rustic, romantic hideaway with an attention to detail and service that makes this a truly special place. Others have already said Emerico is an wonderful host, passionate about the area and his family’s long standing links to the estate and we wholeheartedly endorse these together with those comments about Assunta's amazing cooking! If you want to...

Excellent location to discover the western Sicily and its archeological treasures. The good advice and hints from the host helped us to find everything we thought were the most interesting places. The accomodation was really charming and peaceful.

My husband, daughter and I traveled to Sicily and stayed at Villa Sicilia for a long weekend when we visited my daughter who was studying in Florence. The villa has been lovingly and tastefully restored. We felt like we were at our home away from home. Emerico is so passionate and knowledgeable about the area, we felt like we really...

The owner is a delightful and attentive host, and a great enthusiast for the local area and its historical importance. The personal service from the staff met our every need and Asunte provided delicious meals...

We spent 2 wonderfully relaxing weeks at the amazing Villa Sicilia -- a restored farmhouse on a large olive estate near the ruins of Selinunte. The staff was wonderful - wholly attentive, but not overbearing; you knew they really wanted you to enjoy your stay ...and Assunta's cooking was the best we experienced anywhere on the island! The rooms were...

I went to Villa Sicilia with my family for a week and absolutely loved it. The house is a slice of heaven, lovingly restored by Emerico. The villa is steeped in culture and history; lying in the salt water infinity pool you can gaze out to the sea and the Greek temples at Hera. The only downfall is that you...

You feel welcome from the first moment on and enjoy the quite and exclusive atmosphere. The staff and Emerico are very friendly and obliging. The rooms are renovated and tastefully furnished. The candlelight dinners are superbe....

One of the most unique, rich and enjoyable travel experiences ever and we have travelled the world extensively. Emerico Amari has restored his family's farm house with refined elegance and luxurious comfort, while retaining the rustic charm and historical integrity - he has even used segments of transparent flooring to expose the ancient layers below as was done in the...
