We liked this place a lot and thought it was good value for money. It's a converted trullo farm, which belonged to the owner's grandparents and has been converted/restored to a really high standard. Our room was beautiful. Comfy bed, well appointed bathroom. The location is great - only about 15 mins drive from either Noci, Martina Franca or Alberobello, but...

A real find, beautifully situated and enjoyed experience of staying in a trullo. We opted to have a dinner in (need to give a day's notice) and Hugo's cooking was excellent, we enjoyed seeing what he prepared to give us a taste of local produce.

Rob found this gorgeous little Trulli on Bookings.com and it was just so quaint, quiet and charming that we had a very relaxing 4 nights in the countryside in this unique little place. Bed and breakfast is the offer, and the breakfast is typical and what you would expect in Italy - croissant, yoghurt and lots of yummy cereals. Hugo...

This place is a haven. I stayed with my husband for 7 nights, part of a 3 week touring holiday on our Goldwing. Hugo and his family are friendly and welcoming. The place is a true gem, full of character and beauty. Our accommodation was perfect, we had the Melogramo suite (Trulli) which had its own sitting room area, a...

The setting is magnificent--both the Trulli Gallo Rosso garden landscape and the surrounding countryside with stone walls outlining farm plots provide a green respite, ideal with spring flowers in bloom. We enjoyed abundant delicious appetizers with tasty local wine as dinner on our terrace, followed by blackberries soaked in grappa. Sleeping in these beautifully restored trulli is comfortable and completely...

Dear Mariela, I'm sorry you did not like our breakfast, I'd say one of our business strengths with ..... cheese, homemade jams, cereals, musley, farmhouse bread and biscuits, yogurt, fruit, cake made at home, hazelnut cream, orange juice, butter, coffee and cappuccino, friselle with tomato .... I also asked him if he wanted fresh eggs !!! In the room you...

Gallo Rosso was a beautiful spot and our host Hugo was very gracious and made sure we were very comfortable. He was very helpful in providing information on areas we could visit and places that were really worth seeing. The B&B is very well located close to Alberobello, Martina Franca to name a few. I would recommend a stay at...

Our room was actually a cluster of 3 Trulli roundhouses in a row, a front sitting room with old fireplace, bedroom then bathroom, all nicely decorated. The little terrace outside links along all the rooms and receives sunlight almost all day. From here you can look over the planted nut and fruit trees and surrounding farmland. The Trulli is next...

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Gallo Rosso is an elegant structure of Trulli, finely restored; it's built in a wonderful hilly location, plunged into the magic silence of the Itria Valley, between the enchanting fascination of the oak and olm-oak woods and the intense scent of the mastic tree and the hawthorn, typical of the maquis. The structure is located in a privileged position, indeed some km far there are Martina Franca, Alberobello, the "capital of the Trulli," belonging to the Unesco worldwide patrimony, Cisternino, Locorotondo and Ostuni. ... more   less
