Very nice hotel under the pista. Large comfortable rooms and bathrooms with everything you need. Dog friendly hotel. And...amazing breakfast...the smell of fresh pastries you can feel very far from dining room and if you go early enough, it will be hot yet.

We were again on a Ski Camp in this wonderful town of Tarvisio. Even if it is Summer, it must be a fairy tell place. If you visit Udine, it is just a 30 minutes drive to this lovely hotel, called Edelhof. We booked in August last year for this end of January, and now it is almost full for... More

We stayed for 2 nights in this charming, alpine hotel. We enjoyed a warm welcome, a spacious and comfortable room, beautiful mountain views and good food. Just like "the Lady Vanishes" - but with 21st century comforts!

We were a family with 2 kids, one at 9 and the other at age of 2, on a ski holiday. It was super fantastic the entire stay. For one week, we were spoiled by the great staff of the hotel, located perfectly just at the beginning of ski-elevator, and at the end you can ski straight to hotel. Five... More

I come to Tarvisio every year to ski and have been staying at the Edelhof every time, and find that the service , facilities just keep getting better and better. I would not even look to stay any where else in the region as it feels like a home away from home. Great place, great service, great facilities and awesome... More

We stayed in this hotel during a bicycling trip through parts of Italy, Slovenia and Austria. The hotel is in a nice location which allows you to walk or bike to all the local restaurants and shops. I was traveling with a friend rather than a spouse which is always a bit problematic since most rooms in hotels seem geared... More

We were here a couple of nights while on a cycling trip. As another reviewer mentioned we had an opportunity to watch some pasta being made and to sample it as well, that was fun. Short stroll/bike to the town center, and the local scenery is simply gorgeous. I would stay here again. It would be interesting to see how... More

We stayed here for 2 nights while biking in the area. The staff was very helpful. If you eat in the restaurant, order the pasta. We had a chance to go in the kitchen and talk to the chef and see him work. Amazing. The food was delicious

This is a very lovely hotel in a good situation near ski lifts, the golf course and a short stroll to the town centre. We had a huge room beautifully furnished in typical painted wood alpine style. There was a wrap round balcony and a spacious bathroom. A slight problem with a rather rickety bed was sorted out without fuss... More
