Stay of 2 nights on a bike trip.
Welcome and exceptional kindness upon arrival.
The whole team is efficient and careless for guests. From the lady who cleans the rooms to the bar team, smiles, kindness and kindness are necessary. And yet their pace is frantic!
Clean and quiet rooms. We had the room overlooking the square and thanks to the double window system we slept very well in peace despite the people on the terrace.

Stayed a night during my Camino de Compostelle. Nice that they provide a 10% discount for pilgrims. Room was clean and. Spacious. Breakfast basic but good, but service can be a bit rough since the ladies also run the bar-cafe at this busy place. Overall a good experience

Though we did not stay in the hotel, we did have a drink on the terrace outside the hotel on a couple of occasions. It is in a great location on the attractive Place Champlllion in the heart of the old city. I am posting this here because there is no other place to post this review and people considering staying in the hotel may appreciate a review of the associated cafe.

We really enjoyed both the Grimbergen blanche and the Grimbergen ambree, both well priced at 2.70 Euros a glass. Our drinks came with a bowl of olives and nuts. It seems to be a very popular place with the locals and it has a very nice atmosphere

Just for the café - this lady who serves at the bar area does not have an inch of customer service at all. When we entered the café, she looked at us annoyingly & having to ask her which tea variety do they have, she gives us that dismal look on her face that says "I do not care what you want." Otherwise, the ambiance was great, café & tea were great. I really hope you consider changing that lady behind the bar since she's not happy to work there either.

We stopped over at this hotel on our way across from Bergerac to the Cantal. This is a lovely small hotel with a very friendly proprietress and generally friendly staff. But that was our problem - it only takes one member of staff to be rude and unhelpful to bring a potential 5 rating down to a 3. The lady who checked us out seemed to think I was trying to defraud her personally when the card machine abandoned the transaction (because of the slow connection), she refused to try it again and I don't appreciate people holding the palm of their hand up to my face to emphasise their point. We gave her my wife's card (same account) and this went through no problem.
The other negative point is that nobody told us about this terrace area, that everybody raves about; our French is pretty good, but it was only when we were half way through eating our breakfast alone in the foyer area that the waiter mentioned this alternative.
The hotel is clearly better than the rating I have given it, but I can only rate on the experience we had.

Seriously old town with scarily narrow streets. We were driving and even with our GPS it was a little fiddly and we had to park illegally whilst I went in to the hotel.

The patroness explained where we should go for free parking and suggested we bring our bags in first so we would not have to carry them down from the car park.

She kindly carried them up to our room on the top floor with a view over the square. We found the parking area in the church at the top of the hill without any trouble.

A plain and simple room but quite adequate for our needs and the view from the window over the square was sublime.

Wifi included in the price and reception very good.

Figeac is seriously noisy in the morning with street sweeping machines, so we woke early.

Had a coffee at the cafe downstairs before setting off.

We passed one night at the hotel as we stopped in Figeac travelling around the valley of Lot. This was a positive experience overall. The room was small, Parisian way, but quite neat and with two windows, one of them opening on the nice old square in front of the hotel. The bathroom was simple but clean, although we were puzzled by the absence of the curtain. After two of us took the shower, there was water on the floor. The breakfast was substantial, with juice, coffee, pastries and bread and jam. The place seems to be run exclusively by women, and all members of the staff were very friendly and ready to help. Overall, we left quite satisfied. This is not a chic accommodation, but quite value for money and located right in the middle of the old town, which is remarkably well preserved. There are several parking areas, including at least two gratuitous – one of them situated on Rue Emile Zola leading to the hotel. On arrival, we parked right there and walked two hundred meters to the hotel with the luggage.

very very nice experience. very ggod value for money. 50 euros per night. The asset of the place is the possibility to have ur breakfast in the cafe nearby on the biggest square of the village. It starts with a real freshly squeezed orange juice (something u get in 4 stars hotels normally.very rare in France) and the second asset is the wonderful owner of the place. A joyful open minded always available woman. Always willing to make ur life easier. Ok maybe the rooms are a bit noisy, you hear everything but it doesnt matter. this place has charm and a spirit. it's really worth a visit.

Delightful café next door to restaurant Le Seth and opposite the museum. Wood burner when not too warm outside and plenty of tables outside when the sun is shining. Very comfortable inside with lots of newspapers (not just local ones) and good coffee at a fair price (€1,30) for such a location.

We called in figeac to catch up with friends on our way back from Portugal in our motorhome. It was a cold weekend but I had to go to Champollion cafe for old times sake. We sat outside as we had our dog with us but it really was cold, the lady who owns the cafe invited us in to get warm and the dog was made very welcome too. We spent a good few hours catching up and drinking great wine. Thank you for a brilliant day. We parked our motorhome on the car park near the football field where you can stay overnight.
We will be back soon.
