This is a VERY late review. My husband and I stayed at La DorDîne in October of 2011 for our 15th anniversary. We wanted a good base in the Languedoc and La DorDîne was perfect. In our travels, we have stayed in several B&B's and La DorDîne ranks up there with the best. Accommodation La DorDîne is very very charming,...

THe key dimension is the warm and friendly welcome, in a professional manner. But a bit expensive, all in all, with a disfunctioning TV set and difficult access to Internet; Breakfast a bit crowdy when the house is full of guests! It might also be noisy, near the street.

We stayed here for four nights last month, April 2016. I can't say enough about Veronique, Aurelien and their two children Leonora and Anselme. Two weeks later and we still miss them all. Their amazing house in the Jewish quarter of the old city in Pezenas was fabulous and lovingly decorated. Our room was on the small side but comfortable,...

We (2 couples) spent 4 nights at La Dordine Gites and we didn't want leave in the end. The host were such a lovely couple and couldn't do more for us with restaurant recommendations and places to visit within the area. The Gites are very comfortable and have everything you need for a short or long stay. The Gite is...

We came in March and were charmed by Pezenas, which had the relaxed air of an ancient town empty of tourists. The Saturday market was a sight to behold, crowded with a colorful melange of vendors, families and dogs. The hosts at La Dordine were helpful and friendly in all manner of things. Our bedroom was the top floor which...

Park for free outside the medieval heart of Pezenas and make your way on foot to this unusual B&B, located in the town's ancient Jewish quarter. We had been warned that our room was several flights up a narrow, windy staircase, so we weren't surprised. But we were surprised and delighted by the accommodation: a large, bright room, generous bathroom...

We recently visited the Languedoc-Roussillon area and had not made any arrangements for our stay. We called the same day (Dec. 26th) and they were able to accommodate us for a small furnished studio the same evening. Aurelien and Veronique could not have given us a warmer welcome, the room was cosy and very clean, location is great (in the...

Pezenas, with its perfectly preserved medieval core, reminds me of Sarlat in the Dordogne, but less expensive, and that applies to accommodations if La Dordine is any indicator. Aurelien and Veronique's 13th century home is an excellent value, situated on a narrow street in the heart of the medieval part of town. Very comfortable bed with en suite accommodations up...

this is the second time we come here, say no more? Aurelien and his lovely wife veronique just do everything to make you feel at home. If you don't mind to do some stairs to the lovely rooms just go there. Try to book for the evening meal and wine lessons, Aurelien knows a few things about wine and veronique...

Véronique and Aurélien are a lovely couple who made my stay in the mediaeval village Pézenas very pleasant. They value good fresh food, and the breakfasts with home made brioche and jams were simply delicious. There were plenty of helpful suggestions on what to do in the area and where to eat. I stayed in the studio which had a...
