I'm staying in chumphon palace at the moment. After reading some really negative reviews I was a little bit apprehensive but no need to be. The staff are lovely and although the room is basic it has everything you need for a 1 night stay. I slept really well in the room and the Aircon worked like a dream. Would...

I don't like writing bad reviews unless I feel the need to. I knew I was staying in a budget hotel so I didn't expect much the rooms were average and was located conveniently in town, myself and my boyfriend were only staying here as a stopover to Ko Tao. The receptionist in the evening didn't have great English I...

I have only put poor as it is below average, but not much. I paid THB 550 for a twin room. There is no kettle, no toothpase/tooth brush and for me the soad dispenser in the shower were both empty. The receptionist could speak little English - she told me the wi-fi code and my room number, that no double...

This place is showing its age a bit although the staff are friendly and the breakfast is included in the overall price so well worth it if you're on a budget. Everything works fine: free internet, showers no A/C. It'll take about 30 minutes to walk from the train station to this place.

A short walk from the bus station. There are lots of street food options near the hotel. It's more geared for Thai travelers. The staff was nice and the hotel was clean. If you plan on eating street food get a early start the stalls close early.

Close by you will be passing the big food market. It does not smell of lilleys of the valley. Front desk does not speak many words in english but don't loose...

Thai food was fresh and good. Staff was friendly and helpful. AC and WiFi worked well but shower water was adiquently warm but not hot. As hotel was next...

Hotel is near the market and 7-11. We can walk around the hotel all night with safe. Safe parking area with security guard. Room is clean and quiet. It is a 5-floor hotel. I prefer low floor. Next time I will come again.
