Luxurious double rooms for your entire needs. Fully comfortable king size mattress. Hot water supply other facilities for your comfort. Delicious Sri Lankan food. it enjoys uniqueness with its own features.
Places to stay are graded on a 0-100 scale. The higher the grade, the easier it is for travellers to find restaurants and things to do within walking distance.
This was amazing. Comfortable beds, air conditioning, tea making facilities, delicious breakfast served in your room so you can eat breakfast watching the monkeys in the trees. Absolutely heavenly. The breakfast was so delicious and the staff were very friendly and helpful. In walking distance from Ella town so perfectly situated. I would recommend this to anyone.

The people who work here will do everything they can to make sure you enjoy your stay.
The views are incredible, the rooms top quality and the breakfast was amazing! The monkeys will watching from the trees as you eat the breakfast that is delivered to your room, so be mindful if you leave it unattended.
A gem, just five minutes walk from Ella!

We came to Ella from Mirissa riding on the back of two mesmerizing stays and had similar expectations from Ella Country House, and we were not disappointed.
Run by Gitanjali and her husband (could not gather his name) and an extremely sweet house help available throughout the day. The property is located a kilometer from the city centre and railway station and is adorned with various plants and trees which were extremely well tended to and enhanced the experience of staying amidst nature.
We got a hill facing room with an amazing balcony for you to sit and even lie down, and a quaint room with a massive King Sized Bed. The furniture in the room were enough for a convenient stay and to access luggage without having to work hard for it.
We booked our room with breakfast and they surprised us. Omelette, toasted breads,freshly cut fruits, fruit juice, a pot of Coffee. You can even ask for Egg Hoppers or other local breakfast items although they are subject to availability.
As we had an early train to catch the owners even asked to pack breakfast for us to enjoy while going, a gesture we found sweet and homely. In good faith we were dropped to the railway station by the owner at 6 in the morning and wished well for our travels ahead.

My wife and I spent two nights in this beautiful place, surrounded by nature and animals. Rooms are clean and comfortable enough for two people and are equipped with mosquito net, air con, fan, fridge and tv. What makes the stay special is the beautiful balcony and the view it offers. In the morning breakfast is served in the balcony so you taste delicious food with a wonderful view. We had a great time!

Loved staying at the Country House. First, the rooms are really clean, up to date, and very nice. The bathroom is huge, with good water pressure and hot water. I loved the view from the balcony. At night, because it is outside the main area you can see many stars. They also served us Sri Lankan breakfast with plenty of fruit. It was very good and filling. The staff that was working there was very kind and helpful. We needed to do our laundry and he gave us laundry service for free. The Country House is outside of the main area but less than 10min walk. The main area is very noisy in the evening, with restaurants playing loud music and the traffic. Country House is away from the noise. We rented a scooter which they helped us arrange. On our last day the staff at Country House helped us hire a driver. There is a Taxi service company connected to Country House. The taxi service was great. Overall, I loved staying at the Country House and would definitely stay there again. The view is breathtaking.

Easy to locate (near to town, no need to go through byways/side roads) and accessible, parking is available. Staff is very friendly and good service. Good sanitary conditions and clean rooms. Healthy and delicious breakfast.

Wonderful stay in Ella Country House! Spent two nights in a very comfortable room with a balcony and views of the mountains. Start to the mornings were always spent with a delicious western / Sri Lankan breakfast that was more then enough to keep me going until lunch. The owners are lovely and very helpful with any questions or requests that I had. Location was perfect being so close by Ella town. Would definitely stay again; thank you so much for such a nice experience.

This place is incredible, the rooms are amazing and with a stunning view. It's only a 5 minute walk to town and so easy to get everywhere. The owners were incredibly helpful and welcoming and Raam was always quick to help us and give us any advice we needed. Could not fault this place and we will definitely be back!!! Watch out for the cheeky monkeys and your breakfast 😂

The stay at Ella's country house was exceptional! We came without prebooking and got a wonderful harwood-floor, rustic room with a mountain view and all amenities. We stayed longer than we planned. After adventure to Adam's Peak we took train to Ella and rested for a few days in this great homey place. It is 10m8n walk from Ella's town centre, which is perfect, as it offers you blissful sanctuary in the heart of Sri Lankan mountains without the hipster touristy fluff that abounds in the white hipster-gentrified centre.
The cleanliness is perfect (and I am a germophobe!), the breakfast is amazing and full of heartful healthy variety of food.
10 our of 10, highl recommended great value for the money!
