I've stayed here many, many times and it is just great. If you are a budget traveller and are looking for a quaint, no frills place to stay this is the best and cheapest option in Dumaguete. It's very cosy with wood floors, nice staff and students studying in the little reception area. Perfect location right near the boulevard and...

Found this place on net could not find details to book but just arrived and talked with owner and it was like I was a friend...... all double rooms booked but family one available so I got it at rate for double.... what a place fantastic... all I want is a clean room shower toilet and local to main town......

This place is just across the Silliman University Campus and a block away from the seaside of Dumaguete. Have stayed here for a night together with colleagues- fair room service,narrow hallway on the second floor but the family room is big, with small flat tv, small refrigerator, and CR/ bathroom. Price is just fine but if you are into a...

Stayed two nights in a twin room with ensuite bathroom, tv and AC, 700 pesos/night, which is really good for this city! The room and bathroom were clean and big enough, but the mattresses were too soft and need to be replaced. The room has no external windows, which for us was ok considering the common noisy in the streets...

Big room, clean sheets and towels, floor made by wood, with aircon and ref, clean batrhroom, a home away from home, staff are friendly and near to business establishment. Good tasty foods at Kri restaurant

Great mattress, clean and nice sheets & towels, clean room and bathroom with hot water, AC and wifi. Nice staff, free hot and cold water. Great location you can walk to port, market, restaurants, boulevard and all for 700 a night. No window but just to sleep in its perfect. Highly recommended for transit night.

Just recently visited Dumaguete City last month, and had reserved at La Risedencia Al Mar by the boulevard. My mom insisted that we stay at Insular Hotel in their family room to save money since we were island hopping in the Philippines for 3 weeks. Upon arrival in Dgte, I gave in and cancelled my original hotel and booked at...

We stayed in this hotel for one night this month of January 2012 and it was really great. Their rooms are only made of woods but what i really like in this hotel is their service.Staff are very friendly and accommodating. Must try to eat at their restaurant....
