Overall great experience.
We were given a room on the 1st floor beside the elevator. The first thing we noticed after entering the room was an utterly broken and dirty AC. While for the ceiling fan, there was no regulator in the room itself to control the speed. Also, tons of mosquitoes flew around and on the ceiling, which was bound to give someone dengue or malaria.
The room layout was bizarre as there were two separate areas, one for the bathroom and one for WC. The WC area was horrible. The drainage on the floor was clogged with strands of hair. The WC was extremely dirty and stinking to the point that it was almost unusable. And the light strangely was based on a sensor turning on or off as per a person entering the room. And the color was dim blue rather than yellow or white.
The bathroom area on the other side of the room was equally horrible. Out of the two taps, only one had water coming from it. There was a handheld shower that was broken and did not function. The floor could be seen that it wasn't cleaned, making the entire area unusable. Also, it had a particular door which, when we opened, accessed a different passage itself which we were not sure where it was leading to in the hotel, an even strange thing.
The entire passage around our rooms itself was dimly lit and looked shady. Having stayed in multiple hotels over a period, this was not just pathetic but shady and mysterious too. The worst kind of hotel you could stay in. No matter how cheap, avoid this one if you do not wish to spoil your vacation.
Rooms are very clean.
Though bathroom is small but kept clean.
Avnish and hukam singh are very cooperative.
Though they do not have their own parking but cars are parked safely with the help of there staff.
Restaurant area is very spacious.
Food is good.
They have kettle in the rooms and give 2 water bottles of 1 lt every day.
Will surely recommend to family and friends and wish to revisit again
Had a comfortable stay.
Shared autos to harki paudi are available from outside the hotel and they charge Rs.10 per passagner.
They don't have parking space.
Note: From Haridwar Railway Station to jagat inn distance is around 5 Kms, however from Jwalapur station to hotel distance is only 1 Kms.
Though rooms does not have any view but you could get a good view of the city from their roof top restaurant.
P.S- Please donot miss the Premanand Asharam for " Ganga Snan"- the place is clean and well organised. But one has to carry an ID proof for entry.
The price of the hotels are very high but if a person is availing the State Bank of India holiday home then it will be affordable for the person because it is the spot of SBI also.
It is about 4 to 5 kilometres from the Haridwar bus stand and it is about 2 to 3 kilometres from the Haridwar railway station.
It is preferable to travel by train because it is a very sure shot route.
The prices are between rupees 2500 to 6000 day also serve food but if you are "outside food lover" then you would not like to spend rupees 500 or more for dinner and lunch.
