We had a tight schedule so planned our visit in Haridwar during the Holi 2020. Our planning was to be there so that we can have some quality time relaxing and sitting a reading and maybe plan to go for a walk near the ghat. I was happy to found this premium heritage property with a private ghat. So so planned to book it but to our notice we had only options left out to book a suite. It was a hefty charge but anyways we booked it. Prior to make our attempts to call the hotel we got all the info via email few days prior to our date of travel. We did get good hospitality by the hotel staffs but there was only one problem we faced that was there are no option to get or book a pick up from the railways station or at bus station if by any way you planned to travel. You may get a pickup service done by the hotel from airport. The staffs are quite active with their services and cleanliness. So as per our booking we were allocated a suite with a private terrace with sitting arrangements. The rooms were spacious even the wash rooms it also has a separate storage facility.
You will get some amazing view of ganges from the hotel. Even though if you haven't planned anything for the day being in the hotel you can get engaged to lot of activities as they offered some may be free some may have charges You can check with the hotel. You need to prepare yourself for veg as most of the hotels in Haridwar offer only vegetarian food even in the restaurant of the hotel that have offered vegetarian food but with good variety.
The hotel is very close to the market and just 400 m away from Har Ki Pauri Ghat.

Absolutely amazing place to stay! 1. I will start with the appearance of the place. The rickshaw goes through small colorful lanes of market and that itself is one of most amazing experience. 2. The staff at the hotel is very pleasant. They all are pleasantly dressed up, very decent and classy clothes are being given even to the restaurant staff and others. They all have a very truthful, warm and welcoming smile on their faces. They all are genuinely concerned about the guest’s requirements 3. About the property – The property actually gives you positive vibes the moment you enter. It’s a beautifully done up haveli kind of a structure. The open spaces from where you get connected with the Ganga are worth sitting for hours together…calm and serene! The room décor is also classy and subtle. 4. The Food! – I don’t have words to describe the food they offered. I am an established home chef and people love my food. I exactly know why they appreciate my food. It’s simple…. It’s always freshly made using pure and high grade ingredients. The same applies to this place. It’s pure, it’s fresh, it’s homely! The evening high tea menu was superb! 5. The character – The place has its own character! The Ganga aarti organized in the evening is simply mesmerizing. Just before the aarti the priests take a round through the property chanting some shloks and carrying dhoop with them. It’s like how we do it at home. The evening diya batti time! Then is the bhajan Sandhya program. Acharya ji, the singer and his shishya are too good! 6. The Fun factor – They have an astrologer who sits every evening. It’s fun to peep in our future! They also conduct some complementary cookery demos. I missed it though due to lack of time 7. The complementary Tonga ride is quite long and while it’s taking you through the lanes of the city you actually get a local feel of the place. “Badal” the horse was simply adorable! 8. The only flaw of the place I would say is the weak travel desk. They are a bit expensive and cannot give a genuine advice as to how to plan your itinerary, how to move around the city, what exactly happens at the big ganga aarti at the ghat(Very very commercial, don’t go if it’s not your priority. The aarti at the hotel is much more divine and satisfying) etc. All in all, It’s really like having a “Mayka time” for ladies for sure! All pampering and no responsibilities!

My parents wanted to get out of Delhi during the pandemic after spending months at home in lockdown and haveli Hari Ganga was terrific in organizing the perfect trip for my parents. The location is absolutely brilliant and I say this after having been to Haridwar more than 50 times in the last many years. The service by staff makes this place a heavenly abode and I must mention the name of Ms Kavita Khetwal the manager who was terrific and absolutely proactive and very very prompt in helping me with arranging the bookings, payments and met my parents upon arrival arranged the special permit to get into Haridwar and was always available on what’s app to easily connect and ask any questions and always always willing to Help. I strongly recommend this place and the price you pay for this hotel absolutely is justified by the warm hospitality, cleanliness, views, breakfast and everything that the hotel offers. FULL FIVE STARS and would definitely come back and visit this place again.

I visited haridwar with family for two days in February 2020. We stayed at hotel Gari Ganga and what can I say about the hotel, the staff, amenities ? It was amazing experience. Everyone and everything had exceeded my expectations. It is a very clean, friendly and very accommodating place. Staff are very helpful and service is very prompt. Food was so delicious and fresh. My special admiration is for Front desk welcoming staff Krishna. He was very helpful very informative and excellent at his job.i noticed that He always had time for all guests. He even made sure that we would we are looked after at our next hotel in Aloha in Rishikesh. He made recommendation. He made special request to help us and accommodate us with great comfort. Which was very kind and thoughtful of him. He made sure of our small request has been fulfilled. Our stay was made more enjoyable and comfortable because of attention to details from krishna. We like to thank him for his services. We are hoping to visit with family again in future. Thank you again for your hospitality Hari Ganga it was first time at haridwar for me but I will visit again . Haridwar City tour in general has changed my views on what we see on news about Ganges banks are dirty. Haridwar the place is dirty 😱it’s all wrong . I am well impressed with how project of cleaning ganga is working. People need to have patience and help clean the Pavitra Ganga instead of complaining and making it dirty. It’s local people need more education and to learn keeping it clean using area to dump rubbish. Until then it’s a Hugh slow process. I hope people in India respect and appreciate what they have 🙏🏽 I am recommending this my whole tour and my Experience to all my family and friends and requested them to stay and enjoy the hospitality of Hotel Gari ganaga that we did. We also cake and stay in recommendation of my family who visited haridwar and stayed at the hotel Gari Ganga 15 years ago and they had amazing time then also. Our 1st visit to Haveli had an excellent experience. Homely stay with most courteous staff and home like food. The hotel old Haveli revamped with a mix of antique and Morden looks.
It will be desirable if hotel can do periodic cleaning of its Ganga Ghat to remove algae and push sand out it will really give much more better experience

It was a sudden plan to include Haridwar in my travel plan for a duration longer than a day and I'm blessed that I found this lovely place- Haveli Hari Ganga to truly enjoy the beauty of the Ganges and the aarti therein.
The hotel has its private bathing ghat and it was really good to have taken a holy dip without the worry of the people/belongings etc.
This hotel is converted from an ancestral property and when you enter the property you feel how you have entered into another home! The warmth of the staff here is really very good. Everyone is so helpful and takes good care of every need of yours. The staff helped me locate the famous joints for kachoris, gol gappas, dahi bhalle and they even arranged to get dahi bhalle from the shop for me as I couldn't locate it in the midst of the crowded gallis of Haridwar.
The hotel has arrangements for escorting the guests to the Ganga aarti in the evening and its really a pleasure to witness the great aarti.
I enjoyed the spa here, the food was mind blowing, the views of the Ganga are beyond words and it made me extend my stay here for long!!
Special thanks to the staff- Kavitha, Krishna, Pankaj, Sachin, Hiramani for their wonderful warmth and care throughout my stay.
Highly recommended place in Haridwar for the amazing views, proximity to Har Ki Pauri and Mansa Devi temple, the markets and the street food.

Travelled in Feb, hoping to amidst the mass of the Kumbh, which was postponed by the organisers. But stay at this hotel made our time at Haridwar more pleasant. Its a refurbished Haveli, earlier a residence of nobility. The rooms are spacious, with some rooms and balcony overlooking the flow of the Ganga, with lovely sunrise views too. The staff are very helpful and always cheerful (esp. Kavitha of front desk, who helped right from booking to checkout). The food (breakfast and dinner in package) was delicious with live counters for treats like hot jalebis. The special touches like - chai, chat and snacks on the terrace, the music/ dance shows, the flute recitals... all make for a great experience., which in many ways justifies the premium pricing. The place is tucked away from one of the main streets so, the bustle is just a few minutes walk. And the place has an amazing fragrance, which welcomes you in. So all in all - its a place that appeals to multiple senses. Definitely worth a visit. Kudos to the management to well maintained heritage property.

Stayed at Haveli Hari Ganga, Haridwar for night and my experience was amazingly good.
To start with Mr. Krishna, duty manager was the one stop solution to all my queries, booking, location, accommodation, late check-in and late check-out, you tell him and he has a solution. He was good with his approach and interaction. The entire hotel staff was cooperative and service was quick and good.
Do not hold yourself back due to few negative reviews, because it’s an amazing experience, you have Ganga flowing adjacent to the wall of the hotel with a private ghat. Further the vehicle needs to be parked about 500 meters from the hotel in the Ramlila Ground which is pay and park. The Hotel provides pick and drop from the parking. Mr Krishna organised all this as per our convenience

I had stayed at Haveli Hari Ganga quite a few years ago, so I didn’t remember much from my previous visit except for the fact that we had enjoyed the stay the last time. This time again it was absolutely amazing. It was a much needed break after the 2nd wave and Haveli Hari Ganga did not disappoint. The cleanliness is top-knotch, the rooms were large and very well lit, luxurious and comfortable and the food was very good and not overly greasy or heavy. The hotel is maintained very well and the service from each staff member was excellent. I hope to visit again soon and highly recommend!

I checked in this hotel on 29th june. In this time of Pandemic we all are a bit conscious about hygienic stay and kudos this hotel was completely up to the mark. The best part of the stay was that the hotel staff was 100% following the guidelines issued by the government. We were welcomed on the reception desk by krishna. Leading the courteous staff he provided us very good hospitality. Food was amazing and rooms were very spacious. Overall an amazing stay. I recommend this hotel to all the tourist visiting haridwar.

Mostly they have it in Shree Ganga G Facing Rooms
and in some rooms they may come up with Bed they can adjust but the size of the majority rooms are for Two Adult and One Child on the main Bed..but if U put an additional Bed then It will be conjusted but as per the aboce rooms U can check if they provide but as per my experience it is not adviseable..rest it is upto U guyz.
U can get ALL the service U have asked in Ur question here but U only need to negotiate the prices with them or any agent ..
My suggestion is take atleast Bed--Breakfast--Dinner Pack for 2
they have Lift--wi-fi--Modern Room with Haveli Touch--Travel Desk--Ayurvedic Massage Centre which is absolutely rejuvenating.

"Parking is the only problem as car does not come till hotel.....car needs to be parked at a common parking and from there e rickshaws to be used to reach hotel. "
