Pilibhit House offers quiet luxury with magnificent views of the Ganga, close proximity to Har Ki Pauri and contemporary architecture in a 100 year old haveli. Waking up to see sunrise by the Ganges with steaming hot cups of pahadi tea will stay with us for a long time! We traveled with our pet dog and stayed in their only pet friendly room with its own private balcony offering gorgeous views of the Ganga. While our pet dog was not allowed anywhere in the property, the staff tried to make the experience as hospitable as possible. A special call-out to the incredibly warm and welcoming staff - special call out to Sameer ,Nikita, Himashri, Akash, Ashutosh, Himanshi , Shahbaaz and Jitendra who made our experience really memorable! Thank you to the F&B team at both the Dining Room and the Terrace - the team taking orders did a great job at recommending dishes and creating positive experiences. And last but not the least, Yamlalji at the entrance had great attention to detail and ensured we got trustworthy auto rickshaws and checked in at every step of the way! Just back after a short stay at Pilibhit House, Haridwar. An oasis within the typical chaos of Haridwar. The property is stunning and conveniently located on the bank of the Ganges.
Rooms were comfortable and the food was also top class.
We had a lovely experience with credit going to the various staff who really added value to our stay. In particular I’d like to single out Shruti for her very helpful nature, and for being tuned in to our needs. Sanjay was a true gentleman and conducted himself extremely professionally with a smile and was also always on hand to answer our questions during meal times. Other members of staff were also brilliant Ashutosh, Anil and Hemant were a few who also impressed us. Credit also to the management.
We’ll certainly come back here as we had a wonderful time.

Words will not be enough to truly describe our experience of staying at the Pilibhit House in Haridwar albeit just for a day! We’ve been travelling for over 4 weeks having stayed at multiple places in the South of India & came to Haridwar from Rishikesh where we attended a wedding. Both of us needed TLC (tender loving care) as we were feeling quite washed out with all the travel hopping. We were welcomed by the lovely Shruti at the door & the welcome was an event itself! Conches were blown & garlands of the 5 faceted Rudraksha beads. Slightly surprised but pleasantly so by the welcome. Shruti then went on to explain all that happens at the hotel & the facilities to maximise our experience. We were led to our humongous room that had a balcony towards the Ganges!! Every little thing was catered to beginning with 2 keycards so that you could leave one in the slot in the room & carry one with you when you left the room. They even arranged for our driver to use facilities for nature’s call & a shower etc. The property is an old one but the decor, facilities were a true mix of modern with traditional. They facilitated a dip in the Ganga as well as a very personable Ganga Aarti too! The early morning guided walk at 6:30 AM was refreshing & informative. The staff organised a little treat welcoming us back again which was truly a sweet gesture. At our departure we were treated to the traditional send off with gud (jaggery) & yogurt just as my Mum would do! But the most important aspect was the kindness, the welcoming attitude & the “nothing is too much” approach of every staff member! We remember Shruti, Kuldeep (at the restaurant) the live singer at dinner, Jyoti who took lots of pictures, the ever smiling face of Taranjeet & the conversation with Vikas Nagar the Manager. It is the staff, their training & their warmth that made our experience an exemplar one! Seleqtions ought to be very proud of their staff who are indeed a big asset to them! A gem of a boutique heritage hotel on river Ganga in Haridwar. This historical property is wonderfully decorated exquisite pieces of antiques that seamlessly blends with modern amenities. The atmosphere is serene and spiritual as subtle live music is continuously played during the day. The evening Ganga puja brings everything together as the sun sets down on river Ganges. The food is delicious with local dishes proudly made by the chef. The tea stall in the courtyard perfectly blends with the location and serves great chai throughout the day. Rooms are incredible!!!
And finally, the most extraordinary part of the hotel is the team - they define hospitality, care and empathy with amazing service - from welcoming you until your departure and more. They made our stay Exceptional and Memorable; thank you for your hospitality.

Such superlative reviews have already been written about this hotel in the past and here is a small addition from our recent experience. This property will certainly rate as one of the best managed boutique hotels in India. The location, ambience, infrastructure, and the detailing are the basic ingredients for any hotel (and even on those the Pilibhit House will be second to none) but the softer side of hospitality is where this hotel has raised the bar. It is truly a 'house' and not a hotel. Attention to details and personalisation are the core of their service.
All the hotel staff share common vision and essence of service and are aligned to deliver service with warmth, care, and love. The vibrancy when blended with the serene layout and design of the property provides an excpetional level of memories that can be cherished for ever.
No guest will feel ignored. Every staff member has great ability to engage and care. The property has exceptional leadership supported by competent team members who are true brand ambassadors of what Indian hospitality is all about. I could have mentioned so many individuals by their names but not doing so to mantain their privacy.
Exceptional service is supported by great food, well planned and well curated activities, Ganga Aarti, morning yoga sessions, and many more.... It is a complete package of wonderful experience where each element builds on the other.
When most people visit Haridwar, they generally have a mindset - it's about peace, calm, happiness, and serenity to name a few. When you have a property like Pilibhit House which has paid so much attention to these elements, one will easily get transported to an immersive experience which is holistic and soul enriching.

Pilibhit House, Haridwar is a great place to stay when someone is visiting Haridwar for religious or sight seeing purpose. The place is maintained very well and the staff goes out of the way to make you comfortable. This is one of the very few hotels where the staff not just welcomes you with Tilak, Shankhnaad and a Rudraksha garland but also gives farewell while you are leaving. A boutique hotel of 35 rooms- this hotel has taken personal attention to guests to a different level. The food served is par excellence. Breakfast Buffet spread had a lot of items for healthy eating along with the usual sinful ones . The high tea in the evening was also very tasty and had good variety.The infinity swimming pool and jacuzzi were clean and it was refreshing to swim there on the bank of Ganges. We even took a holy dip in the Ganges in the private bathing area which is duly fenced and cleaned. The evening Aarti with Deep-daan was also a great experience. Room is retty spacious and gave a good view of Ganges. The linen and toiletries provided were of good quality and clean. Kudos to the GM of the hotel and the entire team.

This is a fabulous and luxurious place to stay rather expensive. Location is desirable to access the Ghats and prayer places in case of interest. Staff very friendly and helpful. Because of exuberant pricing the occupancy is limited and that affect the food in the restaurant because of low turn over and the food get stale especially during breakfast. The only way that can be avoided is to limit the ready food and offer freshly cooked food only. This was a significant disappointment after paying $400 per night! The rituals, the music, were acceptable but nothing to brag about. The place and the room exceptionally clean and comfortable but I think (my personal view) that similar place and services could be obtained at an affordable price.

This hotel was quite a surprise for us. We never expected such a luxurious stay in Haridwar. By the bank of river Ganges it’s a brilliant property with a lot of luxury within. We stayed in the Ganges view rooms. These rooms are extraordinary, with lots of space and amenities, a beautiful Ganges view balcony and a luxurious bathroom. The ambience of the hotel is enriched by beautiful musical instruments played live by musicians throughout the day. The hotel has it’s own Ghat for bathing as well as Ganga aarti. The two restaurants of the hotel serve delicious vegetarian food. The main restaurant is Multicuisine & The restaurant on the second floor serve pan Asian vegetarian delicacies. The concierge at the hotel arrange various tours for the guests like Temple tours Rishikesh tours and Rajaji national Park tours. They even arrange morning and evening walks with Ganga Aarti in Har ki Pauri. The hotel even have a spa with two massage rooms. The spa services were very good. The behaviour of the staff at the hotel was excellent with a lot of personal touch. I’d like to mention the guard at the front gate called YamLaal specially for his extremely helpful nature. Overall it’s an excellent property with all possible amenities. One thing I guarantee, after visiting this property for the first time, you will definitely feel like coming back here repeatedly. The property has a magical serenity & positivity within.

Words are less to describe this place in Haridwar and it's team .Right from our arrival till our departure, every arrangement was perfect and they made sure our stay was a relaxing and comfortable one with lovely memories . An amazing place overlooking the Ganges . The best part of this place is it's location and that this property has it's own private ghat , rooms are very spacious with balcony overlooing the Ganges and good hygienic bathroom with handshower and all modern amenities. Great ambiance and excellent hospitality with always smiling ,helpful,courteous,hardworking, competent and warm staff who are just there for you just a call away. A top noch property where in if senior citizens cannot go till the ghat for a Ganga Snaan, the staff arranges the Ganga water in a bucket for you till your room . The finest of place where in every detail was taken into consideration of every guest . The staff here is soo soo good, looking after every older and elder person ,asking them about their plans and also checking on their requirements from time to time ,who comes here not only to relax but to visit the Ganges in Haridwar and for the Aarti . My stay wouldn't have been such a comfortable and memorable one without the following staff and team who helped my mom while climbing each time to the room and made sure she was having a good time and enjoying . Mr Preet and Mr Joy who helped me with the booking and ensured i would have a lovely time here .Mr Anurag who was always reachable while we were there and who took care of all the arrangements ,making sure all was perfect .Satish ,Parvesh, Aman , Gopal , Vinod, Garima, Anshika and Sagar from FnB who were always there ,making sure every guest was eating well and helped with suggesting new dishes . A huge thank you to the Chefs who gave us a variety of different and lip smacking chaats and snacks and dishes each day that made us feel at home . We enjoyed the food so so much and looked forward to being at the table everyday .A huge applause to the housekeeping team without whom the stay wouldn't be a fabulous one ..Vikas , Jitender , Poonam ,Navdeep and Ravi who always checked on my mom if she was fine and was comfortable. Our front office team Mr Debmallya ,Hemant Nikita ,Aditi , Anshika ,Rani and Joy ..you guys rock ,what a grand welcome and incrediblehospitalitywe were given . Immensely grateful and thankful to the entire staff and team for making our trip and stay a beautiful one with happy moments to cherish in our heart forever.
