We (3 adults) had a Twin room with an extra bed and had more then enough space for us. The hotel is directly on a ganga bridge and has an amazing view to the daily life on the ganga. The hotel is in a no Vehicle Zone (motorbikes only), you and your luggage'll be picked up at the parking place by a hotel riksha. If we ever come back to Haridwar we will definitely take this hotel again!

Das Hotel liegt in einer Zone in denen PKWs verboten sind, man wird mit einer Riksha mitsamt der Koffer am Parkplatz außerhalb abgeholt. Wenn wir nocheinmal nach Haridwar kommen, werden wir auf jedenfall dieses Hotel erneut nehmen!

Hotel Ganga Lahari is possibly the best place to stay if you wish to be on Har Ki Pauri in Haridwar. Rooms are comfortable and have most of the necessary amenities. All the rooms are Ganga facing. Rooms have a corridor in front of rooms with coffee tables for guests to sit and enjoy the view of Ganges.I was a little worried about how we would reach the hotel, especially with parents as they could not walk much. but we got the number of Mr.Krishna Negi from the sales team in Delhi and He sent all the details of the hotel,parking,location etc by email as well as on whats app too.He was available for us on call and at the hotel for all the assistance. The next day when we received a call from the reception to check our location. They sent a battery rickshaw for our pickup and it was clean and the puller was a gentleman and briefed us about har ki pauri while coming to the hotel on the bridge.
The staff are well groomed and extremely helpful. The place has two restaurants, one on the second floor, Annapurna, and the other one is a rooftop terrace restaurant called The Patio that has live music in the evening. The staff is very friendly and ready to serve items outside the menu also.We were thinking of sightseeing around the city and Krishna Ji suggested we go by Horse Tanga ride and it was a different experience for us and my parents on the horse ride of kankhal tour.
The service of Mr.Krishna Negi was top notch from check in to check out.👍Thank you team ganga lahari for your hospitality service. We will surely come back soon !!

Stayed at Ganga Lahiri while visiting Haridwaar for a day (Overnight). Frankly the hotel and services exceeded expectations on quite a few points.
1. Communication – from the time the booking was made, I received very clear communication from the hotel vide e mail on the confirmation of the booking and how to reach the hotel. I also received a call from the hotel on the date to confirm and to ensure that the transit from the parking lot (Vehicle parking is not permitted near the ghat and the hotel is right on the ghat) to the hotel. Appreciate the level of communication with the guest !! 2. Location – The Hotel is right on the ghat and about 5 min walking distance from Har ki Pauri Ghat – where the Ganga Aarti is performed in the morning and evening. There are lot of shops around where one can buy spiritual stuff and have some good street food. One can take a dip in the holy Ganga just outside the hotel or at any of the ghats through out the day and night 3. Ambience – The rooms and the hotel is very neat and clean and serves very good Vegetarian food(Veg only), soups and juices. The restrooms are very clean and have hot water round the clock.One can have a early morning Tea just sitting outside the room enjoying the view of the ganga river flowing by. The same from the roof top terrace as well. 4. Even though the place outside the hotel is buzzing with activity during the day and evenings its quiet indoors and provides for comfortable rest and sleep within hotel premises and the rooms. 5. Other activities – A Spa where one can get a good Champi (Head and shoulder massage done – Half n hour), live music in the evenings (dinner time on the roof top), Bhajans (evening time) and light flute music (morning) and even an astrologer (Late afternoon)
Overall a fantastic place to stay with family !!
Want to specially mention services of Mr. Krishna Negi for communicating and staying connected through e mail / phone so that we could reach the location and also for managing the porters for pick up services from the parking lot to the hotel (parking 200 mtrs away from the hotel).

Our stay at the hotel was excellent. The hotel is located at Ganga Ghat and was perfect especially for my mother who could not walk much. The hotel staff was very friendly and helpful. The rooms are spacious and were very neat and clean. The food was perfect and served in very hygienic conditions. The view from the balcony is awesome and is added bonus to the stay. Live Bhajan program was very enjoyable.

The best thing about the hotel is its location. It is located on the Ganga river and everything is very close by - walking distance. I was accompanied by my mom who could not walk much and hence the place was perfect. The place does not look very nice from outside and because of the location, one has to go through a crowed road, but once we were inside we found the place modern and clean. Rooms are big. We sat in the balcony and watched the Ganga go by and the life along with it. The food is good though we think the service at breakfast could have been better. A point of improvement could be to add new towels in the bathroom. The towels in my bathroom were very old. The staff at reception were very warm and friendly specially Lucky. The special escorted Ganga aarti is a bonus feature

I'd recommend Hotel Ganga Lahari to anyone who wants to visit Haridwar, without any second thoughts.
My father alongwith my uncle and aunt had to go to Haridwar for some of the final rites of my grandfather. Keeping the current Covid situation in mind we were concerned about finding them a hygienic and comfortable place to stay that would be conveniently located too.
Ganga Lahari checked all those boxes for us. It really exceeded our expectations. It is a very clean and well maintained hotel. Just as we saw in the pictures.
We had the Ganga view room and it was just amazing. The restaurant offered a very good spread and the staff was extremely hospitable and courteous.
Here I'd like to specially mention Mr. Krishna Negi, the Duty Manager. We had mentioned that the family was coming for last rites and he took personal interest in taking care of them. Right from check-in to food, everything was absolutely fuss-free and so smooth. Mr. Krishna and his staff took such good care of my father and family that it totally put our concerns to rest. He was very approachable, prompt and took initiative to get things done.
Best place to stay at Haridwar. And our gratitude to the entire staff.

This heritage hotel is located right on the bank of Ganges, adjacent to the Har Ki Pauri, I must say a wonderful location. We stayed in this hotel for two nights and a day, we were received warmly, Mr Krishna was in frequent touch with me regarding my travel and arrival time to Haridwar, he has arranged porter at Deen Dayal Parking area to pick us to the hotel, the hotel is hardly 500 mtrs from the public parking lot.
I think a haveli has been converted into a beautiful hotel, the rooms are on the first and second floor which gives a stunning view of mother Ganges from the balcony, one can watch many moods of mother Ganges, from the sublime to the divine for hours sitting on your chair, while sipping your tea and reading book.
Our room was pretty good with modern amenities, no complaints at all. The best part was delicious food, very tasty vegetarian food, restaurant staff was a great host, enjoyed the hospitality of the hotel. Overall my experience with the hotel was pretty good, we felt pampered over here.

We stayed 3 nights here in February. The location can't be beat. It's right by the ghats. We could sit at a table in the hallway (upper floor) and watch all the activity going on. The room was good and quieter than we expected (given the common area right outside the rooms). The hotel includes special little touches including musical entertainers in the common area, and chocolates and fruit in the lobby. Food in the restaurant was very good - we found ourselves eating most meals there. Note that cars can't reach the hotel so they organize a cycle rickshaw to pick-up/drop-off guests from the other side of the bridge where there is a parking area. Special thanks to Rajesh in the restaurant. Also to Jitendra at reception who helped greatly with a couple of issues we had with airlines, ATMs, etc. And of course to Pankaj Maithani the Manager for making sure we were comfortable and provided great assurance when we had issues with VISA and ATMs.

I would strongly recommend a stay at this hotel when in Haridwar. The location is an added plus with a view Ganga river from the porch of your room. The hotel has a common porch for all the rooms with a nice view. They also provide a pick and drop by cycle rickshaw as the location does not allow parking near Ganga. Breakfast was nice. Added plus was the evening tea, bhajan sandhya, violin and flute performances. They also do a guided tour of evening Ganga aarti. Staff is also nice and helpful. Overall a divine experience!

We stayed here for 3 nights, 12 of us. We had booked 4 rooms out of 16-20 rooms that the hotel has. The hotel is a boutique hotel, not a typical 4 star chain... and they provided a really special experience - be it the rooms, the staff, food, and the hotel location.
Rooms are good sized and the corridor facing Ganga Ji is mind blowing. Hotel terrace also provides a super view. Beds chairs sofas beddings - are really comfortable. The hotel is so breezy.
Breakfast is nice and hearty. And served real hot esp puris and parathas. We also loved the thali. Kids had pasta one evening and they was tasty too.
Everything is within walking distance. Hand pulled and electric rickshaws are easily available for those who can’t or don’t want to walk.
The staff is nice and very warm and feel like an extended family.
I forgot my watch in the locker and they sent us a WhatsApp with the image to ask if the watch belonged to us.
Overall, very very good. To experience the real Haridwar, this hotel is the best! Don’t look elsewhere. It seems expensive when you book but once you get there you know why you paid the premium.. totally worth it.
