We really liked paradise beach. It's right on Paje beach which is one of the most beautiful I have seen. They were attentive and yet the place felt private. And for a good price too. Loved meeting the bush babies that came down from the trees after dinner each evening. My only downside was the beds were a bit old...

Absolutely wonderful place, agree totally with Octopusmessi's review. We had already been in Paje for 3 nights at another hotel but wanted to move - walked up the beach and met the lovely Mohammed and Mr Tembe whose warm welcome persuaded us to choose Paradise bunglows for our next stay. We only intended to stay 2 nights then move around...

We chose this hotel after reading reviews and I have to say that we were quit disappointed when we came to Paradise. The site of the hotel is actually quite good. Private beach and you will not be disturbed by lots of people, but we think the location is a little bit too far from the Paje village. If you...

After spending a few days in Stonetown, my friend and I rented a car and went off to explore the island. It took us not long to reach Paje, which has the best beach of all on this island. With no planning and pre-booking we were lucky to get a small bungalow, as Jan is high season. Paradise beach bungalows...

We looked for hours, paying our driver more and more to hop up and down the East coast of Zanzibar Island, looking for a little piece of paradise to share for a few days. After much searching, we finally came across Paradise Beach Bungalows. We started with lunch of coconut fish made fresh by Saori. Fantastic. Saori uses fresh everything...

I'm somewhat biased because I visit Paradise Beach Bungalows since many years. After having visited many different places on Zanzibar and Pemba I found this place and keep coming here. I must write this, because of several ratings are claiming the cats and dogs there would be full of flees which is not true as the animals get regulally treated...

Paradise was so lovely; a clean, stretch of white sand beach; warm, clear ocean. A couple of chilled out, healthy pooches on the veranda. When the sun sets, a million stars come out and the waves crash and it is the most romantic setting you will ever come across. We stayed in a thatch hut as there were no regular...

We chose this place because of the sushi and japanese home cooking, and we were not disapointed in this respect, the food was really excellent, though sometimes we had to wait a long time to get it, but of course this is Africa, so pole pole! The sea front garden is big and very shady, really important for us because...

We had read great reviews on the web, incl Tripadvisor, but when we arrived the place was grubby, looked neglected, and there was a dog in the bar/dining area which had hardly any fur left and was scratching madly, a cat too, just as bad. No one greeted us and we just sat around waiting for some attention. Eventually we...

An overall judgement on this small, cute village is quite positive. Its location in particular makes the main part of it. The piece of the coast between Bwejuu and Paje is a realy paradise, clean, huge, marvellous. Positive: the Japaniese lady running the village is really nice, polite and alsways available in satisfying her guests. All the swahili staff is...
