We went on a vacation to Zanzibar for our honeymoon and stayed at Zanbluu beach hotel. The place is just stunning and amazingly beautiful. All of the stuff are extremely friendly and helpful. The food is excellent and so delicious. For our honeymoon, the hotel stuff organized a special romantic dinner for us on the beach, decorated specially and beautifully. We had an an all inclusive dealy which was remarkably worth the price since the food and drinks are outstanding. The hotel even helped us arranging day activities and attractions and had a lovely show during a dinner of local dancers. It has been an amazing romantic and relaxing experience that we would highly recommend.
We had such a wonderful stay in the two bedroom Villa in Zanbluu. The private garden with small pool had wonderful sea views and made the perfect intimate and romantic proposal location (the staff couldn’t be more helpful for my partner seeing this up to surprise me!). The beautifully decorated rooms were clean, comfortable with lovely toiletries and local touches. I really appreciated the mosquito nets and nightly spraying. The main infinity pool was just stunning with comfortable sun loungers with a great beach bar providing great cocktails and yummy food. The hotel/pool is situated very close to the beach which was also lovely to be able to stroll along. I was so impressed by the food and drinks (cocktails and wine were just so good), the chef is really a genius. The first night I insisted we had to upgrade to all inclusive and I’m so glad we did, cocktails by the pool really made the perfect holiday. One thing that also really struck me was how lovely and helpful all the people who work there are, including the Maasai, I’d love to thank them all for their excellent service. There was also very talented local entertainers at dinner which we both enjoyed. Thank you Zanbluu team for setting up the most beautiful location for my partner’s proposal. Zanbluu will always have a special place in our hearts I never wanted to leave and we can’t wait to come back.…
The hotel is lovely, the size means that the excellent staff know you and make it a very personal experience. We stayed in the 2 bedroom villa which had a large terrace and private pool. Everything is so clean and tidy. The food is excellent as are the cocktails. I highly recommend this hotel.
This was my first ever visit to Zanzibar and I was a solo traveler. I stayed in room 3. It was an elevated bungalow with balcony and outdoor bath with stunning views. It was exactly what I was after and I recommend requesting this room as it’s quite private with no one overlooking your outdoor bathing area. The place really is paradise and would would be perfect for couples. The hotel grounds are lush and quiet with a nice pool and bar area. My room was clean and the toiletries provided are a local company and were very good quality. Staff were very friendly and try their best - but you do need to be clear with instructions and patient as things can get very very lost in communication even with simple requests. There is no phone or communication method from the room so if you need anything you need to go to the main reception which can be a little frustrating not been able to communicate directly with anyone. I booked the room specifically for the outdoor bath which was fantastic however the plug was broken and you could not fill it - I requested maintenance and it was fixed but then it broke again and wouldn’t fill so I asked for maintenance once more who came and never returned - when I enquired when I was told they said they had sent the person into town to find a replacement part and I would possibly not be able to use it for my final evening and maybe for my final next day which is kinda disappointing. Checking on maintenance issues and ensuring everything in the room works before guests check in would be ideal to avoid disappointment. Food was ok - nothing extraordinary but certainly passable and I thought the half board fare was alright for what was offered. Overall I was happy with my stay - I enjoyed the style of accommodation and would maybe consider staying here again.…
The place is really really really amazing there is no words that can describe how I loved the place , the food 10/10 , customer service 10/10 ,employees 10/10 the view 10/10 and the pool is nice ,all rooms have sea view and private balcony I really appreciate the kindness of the employees and the friendliness
This place is even more beautiful in person!!! We stayed all inclusive and it was excellent! The food was a massive 10/10. The dinner menu changed daily which we really enjoyed. There were a lot of options to choose from for breakfast and lunch too! Everything was delicious!!! The staff are very friendly and helpful. It takes a little longer to travel to tourist areas if you are looking to do some activities but worth it as the place is stunning! Would definitely recommend.
Rented the 2 bedroom villa and used the all inclusive package for a week with my family. A very relaxed week and would highly recommend. Was a bit more than we initially planned on spending on this holiday, but glad we did! Everywhere was very clean. The staff were all excellent - so friendly and accommodating. The food was very good and there was something for everyone, including our teenagers! Worth going all-inclusive. Hotel sorted out a couple of excursions and airport transfers too….these were excellent although there are cheaper options. The week went by so quickly and felt very relaxed at the end of it. Highly recommended…it was a pleasure spending a week there.
Recommend this hotel for anyone wanting to stay in a chilled and natural environment away from the hustle and bustle of other locations in Zanzibar. With amazing selection of plants and the noise of bush babies in the evening. Perfectly situated with a sunrise view over the sea, we stayed in the beach front villa with our own pool. The staff were mainly all local, and very attentive. With local and authentic entertainment every other night at dinner, a shop with local products this place is a great place to stay. Furniture and decor are proudly produced locally, and they are conscious of their sustainable impact with refilling glass bottle waters to reduce plastic. Menu is based on fresh locally grown ingredients mainly fish dishes with some international options of meat & fish and vegetarian. I noted I would love to see some vegan specials too.…
We went there on our honeymoon. Everything was wonderful, most of the staff was very nice and helpful. The rooms have AC, something very important because it can be very hot there. The best thing about this place is the food. We spent 2 weeks in mainland Tanzania and Zanzibar and this was by far the best food we had. Breakfasts were amazing and tasteful, nothing like what we had had before in our trip. Lunch and dinner we’re very good, with a menu that changed everyday and always with different options and tastes. And also it was very cheap 20-25€/meal including drinks. The pool area was very relaxing and you had direct access to the beach, although you couldn’t swim without shoes because there were many rocks. Also, if you go for a walk beware of tides.
From the moment we arrived everything was perfect. The place, the service, friendliness, the food and the tranquility. The staff are exceptionally friendly and GENUINE and had a constant smile on their faces. I cannot recommend enough ! Amazing infinity pool and were extremely pleased with our beautiful bungalow, views and the nature. Special mention to the manager Mr Martin was really helpful and kind. Many Thanks to the staff 😀 You made our stay very pleasant Khemaies & Salma
