We loved our stay at this lodge. The staff was very professional and helpful, even waiting for us when we checked in a bit late. The room was airy, beautiful, well decorated, with organic soap, which we appreciated. The restaurant is very nice too, as is the food. Especially the breakfast, that has everything you could ask for. The beach... More

A very good lodge with everything. Food ok, breakfast very good, but dinner could have a lager choice. A cleaning of the beach is urgent, there are machines that can take up the sea weed. Otherwise IT was a marvellious place.

Nice hotel, friendly personnel. The rooms are fantastic, the view over the beach and the see was amazing. The kitchen is very good, nice breakfast, lunch or diner. It's a good place to stay when you like a relaxing holiday.

My friend and I booked a 5 night stay and arrived at the hotel very late evening as there was a delay with our flights at the airport. On arrival the staff were very warm and welcoming regardless of the fact we were arriving late at night. The reception was closed as it closes at 7pm but this wasn't a... More

My fiancé and I spent 3 days at the Subshine and we really enjoyed our stay there. It's a very quiet and charming hotel. We loved our bedroom too with our own balcony and view on the pool. Definitely recommend it!

The beach at this resort is very beautiful, especially from the infinity pool, and the food here is absolutely amazing. It may be a little bit on the expensive side, but it is worth every penny, especially the fresh fruit at breakfast. The rooms are very nice as well, although the hard flooring does feel a little bit odd in... More

Beautiful place, very calm. If you arelooking place for ultrarelaxation this is it. Not so many atraction despite of diving, snorkling or kitesurfing. Be careful if you do any business with local people - even if they are friendly they just want to get as many money as possible from you. Pricenegotiation of everything is neccesery. Bungalows are very comfortable,... More

Average service and food. Bed as hard as a rock. Room clean but no hot water on our last night. Has internet which was welcomed. A basic eco style hotel. Ceiling fans in room. Two pools and right on the beach. Communication can be a bit difficult as English is not very strong. Remember this is the Sunshine Hotel NOT... More

Stayed for a week following a 5 day safari based on our travel companies recommendation; turned out to be exactly what we needed. The location is excellent, providing the opportunity to enjoy all aspects of the local 'beach life'; whether that be watching the octopus fishers, walking to the reef (mind the urchins!), wandering to the local fish market, snorkelling... We spent three nights here. The hotel has nice view, small pools, and good size rooms. Everything is clean and in the right place. The staff is friendly. Ava at the front desk was super efficient and helpful. We needed to change our flights and she looked after it perfectly. She also followed through with other information we requested. The... More
