Property's Favourite Review
I had a totally amazing experience. The owners and staff are very friendly and helpful. The services provided are top! The room has everything required - AC, ventilators, comfortable bed, safe, shower. What is even more important everything was working smoothly. The place is close to the beach, it is well covered with the garden giving a shadow. They have breakfast options and a restaurant with delicious meals.

quiet place. well located close to the beach. wonderful setting with the gardens.. makes for a very relaxing environment good staff. breakfast is simple and adequate, nothing fancy rooms are ok, spacious. but worn out. bathrooms could be better. maybe some upkeep and fresh paint can do some good cons: no tv, toiletries

Came for a week... that passed too quick. Very comfortable rooms, fully equiped with what one needs. Staff was welcoming, ready to grant your wishes. Eager to help! The chef has magic hands, with delicious local plates. 2 minutes walk from the beach... and to the market restaurants and all attractions.

Had a great experience with this hotel. The staff is exceptionally polite, and there for you, Territory is clean and secure. The place is not big, which makes you feel like home as there is no crowd. It’s 3 min walk from the beach and all restaurants and parties, yet very quiet, so your sleep won’t be interrupted. A bed is comfortable, AC works well.

Atii Hotel is the best place on the whole island! We started our Zanzíbar vacation in Atii and we were so lucky to find this hotel. It is just amazing and perfect! We stayed in 4 different hotels around but after all of these awful places we ran back to Atii! I wish we did not leave this place((( when we reached Atii back we felt like we are in paradise again! Rooms: They are big. The rooms are very clean and neat. The design is neutral and so comfortable. All the rooms smell so nice ... like flowers! The terrace is huge !!! Outdoor: The garden outside is very pretty. It is very green. There are coconuts growing and bananas as well. It is very relaxing to enjoy the smell and the atmosphere outside of the room! There is also a monkey that lives on the trees so she would come sometimes to eat. She is very cute and clean. Breakfast: It was basic but practical for different nationalities it will be tasty! They serve mango smoothie, ananas and mango as a starter. And after that you get bread toasted and butter, omelette and vegetables. You can also enjoy coffee and tea. Beach: Is very close. Just 2 mins walking and the ocean is so beautiful! People who work in Atii: They are just cool!!! Especially Paskal. He is so friendly and polite! He approached us all the time in a very calm and professional manner! He offered us coconuts from the palms and different places to visit. He is a very good person who does his job perfectly! The girls who work in the kitchen are also very cute and funny! They are always very positive and friendly! Atii is really the best place to spend time! You get amazing room and garden, and amazing service and atmosphere! 10/10 Thank you guys !!!

This review refers to my experience with the owner of the bungalows before our stay & after our cancellation: One of the WORST EXPERIENCES I have ever had with an accommodation. KEEP AWAY from this hotel AT ANY COST! We paid months in advance to stay for our holidays in Zanzibar. Every time we had a question before the stay, the owner would either never respond or take weeks to provide a simple answer. Due to COVID-19, we had to cancel as the British boards were closing down, our return flight was cancelled & we had to urgently cut short our holidays in Zanzibar. The hotel & the owner kept the money paid and refused to provide any refund. They were completely unprofessional not responding to any emails for weeks. When eventually responded, the owner was rude mentioning that they will keep our money as it’s not their fault the COVID-19 issue. They never provided any kind of service but kept the full amount of money. The perfect job; take customers money, without any provision of service & then disappear in any communication of refunds, even for partial refund. SHAMEFULL practices to make EASY MONEY for a hotel owner. STAY AWAY and spend your money to respectful & professional hotels.

Warmly recommend Atii gardens. Even though it is not at the beach, but a 3 min walk away, I highly recommend this place. Clean rooms, prompt service, great friendly staff. Rooms are huge and you don’t get this yucky moldy smells that are typical of some hotels in Zanzibar. If you are in Nungwi, stay here.
