We were warmly greeted by Margot and Frank, the owners, and we were given a wonderful welcome cup of tea on arrival and made to feel so at home. Margot was a wonderful mine of information and she made sure our stay in the area was fantastic. Margot had thoughtfully put the heater on as the winter chills had set...

Old house with no ensuite bathrooms, apart from the totally open one with toilet situated behind a moving Japanese screen. Reminded us of a dormitory. At R300 pp we expected better value for money. Don't be mislead. This is not a 3 star establishment as per some of the travel websites. Hosts are very friendly though, but to advance this...

Filled to brim with character and antiques, yet family friendly, our stay here was out of the books. We have stayed over several times before and my family was again impressed by the "best breakfast ever". Hospitality of hosts impresses and go to great effort to accommodate visitors. Thank you for keeping good values alive and sharing the old world...

We are international travellers, living abroad and we could not fault this B&B in any way. We received amazing personal service and warm hospitality from the delightful owners who bend over backwards to accommodate us in every way possible. Great breakfast. Absolutely amazing atmosphere with authentic antiques and lots of character - a gem to those who appreciate the finer...

We stayed over on a recommendation of the bride who was marrying at a nearby wine estate. The establishment really needs a make over. From thin eiderdowns to net lace curtains. .I had gone back 50 years. Then again the one toilet did not flush.. no use telling someone at 11pm.. stained sheets. Even someone else's clothes in the bedroom....
