Maple Lodge was designed by and built for the current owners. It is an excellent place to stay when visiting Wanaka. The whole lodge is designed with sustainability to the forefront. But luxury and good taste are also a high priority. Apart from the very high quality of accommodation, the welcome from Paul and Bernadette was exceptional and the hospitality...

We're staying for two nights on our trip around new Zealand and we've been really treated by our hosts. Great trip suggestions, very welcoming and lots of nice and modern facilities. There are some great touches here that a lot of places have started doing like the honesty bar and a welcoming lounge with information, books and more. Hot tub...

Our night in Wanaka was the only night of a 3 week trip in New Zealand in which we didn't plan our accommodations ahead of time. The Maple Lodge was recommended (and then subsequently booked) through the I-Site in Wanaka. It was a good thing that we did: They advised us that some of the places that we had been...

Maple lodge is just out of town and offers peace and quiet from the town bustle. Beautiful views and rooms. Great hosts who serve up a delicious breakfast. Worth a night or two if on a short stay here.

A perfect location for a stay in Wanaka - away from the hustle and bustle in rural bliss with amazing views but just a few short minutes from the city centre. The accommodation was simply top notch - couldn't have asked for anything more - it was warm , comfortable, quiet with everything we needed on hand. The hosts were...

Beautiful location a short but easy drive fron Wanaka, with excellent local walks and no intrusive noise. The room and bed were fine although the bath/shower room was relatively small. Breakfasts were tasty.

I wish we had more than one night to spend at Maple Lodge, but we enjoyed our brief stay. The building and grounds are beautiful, and the room was very quiet and comfortable, with a small balcony that had a lovely view. Our hosts were pleasant and full of helpful information about restaurants and attractions in the area and along...

I personally would not recommend staying at Maple lodge to anyone, you would get better value for money else where. There is a number of reasons I say this. There was no skytv in the room, I had our wet towels hanging up in the bathroom to dry but later they were folded on the towel rail, I thought we...

It had the feel of a hotel rather than the charm of a B&B the room was comfortable if a little small, the bathroom was ridiculously small. The owners were welcoming and helpful. |Excellent location on the outskirts of Wanaka with stunning views from the garden

High quality B & B in stunning country location. Home made jam, muffins etc. lovely breakfast but mainly it is the warmth of the owners who have a wealth of local knowledge and will advise of walks and which tourist attractions are are best locally and in Queenstown. Would recommend at least a couple of nights.
