This B&B is out of town but not far. The benefit of the location is its tranquility and surroundings. The overall ambience is very good. Our room was very well-appointed and we had an enjoyable stay. The host is obviously proud of his Trip Advisor rating. Well worth a visit.

Berney (from Coventry area) and Paul made us feel very welcome in their seven bedroom boutique bed and breakfast set in countryside 10 mins from Wanaka. Our room was spacious with quality fittings and an outside seating where we were served an afternoon tea of scones jam and coffee.Their property is adorned by a vast quantity of lovely maple trees,...

Beautiful room, elegant details, spacious bathroom, fancy shower. Tasty cooked breakfast. Fresh fruit. Afternoon tea served with homemade scones. Green meadows all around, vegetable garden, good herbal smell. Remote and peaceful farm-like location (car recommended). Highly recommended.

My fifth visit to the property recommendation in itself. Whilst Maple Lodge has not changed and Paul and Bernie have maintained their passion for hospitality, what is different is Wanaka, it is busier than ever, which makes Maple Lodge location six/seven minutes out of town in a rural setting, with its view across to Mount Maud, even more attractive.

We stayed there about 2 weeks ago, and were glad we did. Wanaka itself was so busy that we struggled to find a car park even in the supermarket. Maple Lodge is quiet, relaxing and the owners Paul and Bernie were accommodating and friendly. We bought meat and salad from the town and brought it back to use the BBQ....

Immaculate property and rooms, beautifully kept and maintained. Well situated just a short drive from the town centre. The owners were very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was lovely with a good choice of cooked food and even homemade honey. Stunning views, well appointed modern clean bedroom and bathroom, very comfortable beds with no noise, so a good sleep is...

Wanaka itself can be a bit overrun with tourists during the summer which makes staying at the Maple Lodge a real pleasure. The property is beautiful, the rooms were nice and Paul and Bernie are very personable and knowledgeable about the area. They helped us book some restaurants on Christmas Eve and gave us great advice about two hikes that...

Stayed one night in Wanaka on our way through to Queenstown. Very well presented B&B in a lovely location. Comfortable rooms with small terraces or balcony. Nice location about 5-10 minutes outside of town. The hosts were very friendly and accommodating. Breakfast was simple but tasty and fulfilling. Good location for visiting the area and apparently only about 30 mins...

We didn't realize that our travel agent had booked us at a B&B. We usually avoid them because we like our privacy. This lodge felt like a small hotel and we definitely felt like we had the place to ourselves. The location is near (not in) town and requires a short drive. No problem. The grounds are lovely and they've...
